The best advice I can give you is just come with an open mind ready to work and play in a place that people save up for 3 years to visit. Did any of you get an email from Jeff Tasset? I saw a few of your names on there, I didn't want to open the attachment, although I"m sure it's legit...

So get this - last night they were forecasting SNOW for this morning. AHHH! It didn't actually snow, but it was -4 with the windchill. Bleh, Manitoba weather is terrible!

It's funny with the visas and info pack - I have my visa, no info pack - looks like you have the opposite Danielle. I guess we'll all have everything sooner or later! How was Wimbledon Danielle?

Hey guys, how's everyone doin?

Ive been workin really hard for the past few weeks saving for florida, however i have been workin just as hard at the weekends spendin it :-\, so not any better off!! Does anyone else find it hard to save, there is always something to buy or someones birthday!! its driving me crazy. so ill be workin another 55 hr week next week only to spend it all at the weekend in some mad shoppin binge. This crazy thing is that i fool myself that its things im gonna need for disney, how many pairs of flip flops do i need??? (i have 6 :-\). Oh well..

So how is everyone doin? anyone been on anymore crazy nights out, where they have ended up dancin with their boss or hurtin their foot (dannielle)!! im off out tonight, should be a good one, there is about 20 of us goin!

Wimbledon was wicked although too short! Worth a watch if just to see the guy in it!
Was semi-sensible last week so no interesting tales to tell but off on a bender tonight so i'll keep you all informed!! I know what you mean about buying things cos they will come in handy for disney, i'm a fully fledged shopaholic!

Hey guys how u all doin`? its sad to report this is my 3rd day off work with a stinking cold - wish i cud say it was a hangover why i was sick but no, ive caught somehorrible bug - damn it hey -
worse still, as im sittin here all my mates r gettin pissed with my bro and goin for cheap nite out for students nite - im gutted!

still, my days been productive with trisha (damn it), cash in the attic and location location location - ha h

ive called in sick tomorrow too - so another fun day in store!

hows every one been? n e good nites out? i went out last wed for freshers week and was go as a country nite- i put my rugby top on with some mates and we went as english rugby players - mmmm yeh i know boring but it was still fun!

I decided to get out of Winnipeg for the weekend and headed a few hours away to Brandon to go out with one of my friends. It's always funny going out with just one person - makes for meeting a lot of crazy strangers! I of course ended up puking about 2 minutes after we left the bar, but I walked it off, had some coffee, a cigarette and a donut and felt like a million bucks! I somehow didn't have a hang over the next day, always a bonus!

I totally agree with not being able to save money! I keep telling myself to wait for Florida... can't do it though!!

Gotta go drop off my passport application tomorrow - I hate that I can't just renew it without filling out all the forms. I got a new picture taken, it's absolutely hideous! Haha, I guess that's how passport photos are supposed to look though!

Ha. Sure did Scott. I was about 20 feet away from Houston's, Jackie wanted to put me in a cab but I wouldn't let her, so we walked to Robin's Donuts, got our coffee and hopped in a cab with some crazy guys from the bar. I'm pretty sure it was a result of that berry rum, that probably wasn't the best idea I've ever had....

aww yeah I was wondering how that berry rum concoction was going to treat you.

My gravol was great..knocked me flat on my ass and I didnt wake up until around 5ish on sunday.

Unnnnnnnfortunately when I did wake up I had like a mixture of 3 different peoples colds (strep throat, fever, lungs clogged etc etc) so I have been bed ridden since then, with the exception of getting up to post on here.

I would rather just be hung over.

 

Any Canadians arriving in December? I am as well and was just wondering who else was?

 

Yup! I'm coming from Winnipeg. I think I'm actually going to fly out of Minneapolis though, all the flights from Winnipeg are crap! Anyone know what time we're supposed to arrive?

Oh my gosh!
This is the first time I've been able to get on in like, two months. I had to re-register...I was so confused. I still am but I'll get used to it! Booo to change!
Anywho December kids its exactly TWO MONTHS until our first day of work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARen't we excited! I missed talking to all of you, I was actually starting to find myself not wanting to go....stupid, eh?
I got the e-mail from Jeff Tasset but I haven't gotten my info package yet, but I have gotten my visa. I am just about to call Eric @ Cast-a-way actually for a little bit of info!
My last good drinking night was last week with girls from work, I even got enough liquid courage in me to give a boy my number! good for me!
You guys are all incredible and I was so excited to see your names on the bottom of my visa form! ONLY 62 DAYS TO GO KIDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where are you coming from rchafe? I wanted to fly through Toronto, but I either would have had to overnight in TO, or there was one flight but it got in pretty late.

Nice to see you again Emily! Can't wait, going shopping tomorrow yippeee! And going out on sat night, only got 8 more saturday nights before we go so am going to make the most of my horrible little club!!! What r u all up to this weekend?
What do ppl here do on a Sunday? This is the first time i haven't had to work them since i was 16 and it's weird, they last forever and there's nothing to do or on tv. Hmmmmm can go to one of the theme parks soon!!

Any gossip or exciting news of nites out?.... im counting down days till i quit my job! only 2 weeks and 6 days! cant bloody wait! i know its been asked a hell of a lot but does n e one know when us english peeps get our thingy at US Embassy in London??? i dunno if n e one has actually found out about that whole situation??? i can recommend a great film... man on fire - the new one with denzel washington - pretty cool and one of the best films ive seen this year - (not forgetting spiderman2) awesome huh!

It is 59 days until we leave! Who's excited? I watched the Vacation Planning Video today to get me all psyched!!!!!!!!!
My brother and I are both driving down (in separate cars). I'm leaving on December 2nd and Tim is leaving on the 1st so we can adventure on our way down. We'll be there a couple of days early in case anyone wants to hang out and figure out Orlando/Kissame.
I called Eric the other day to figure out where our packages were and he said "Oh I sent them already....oh wait, no I didn't, they're right here...." So we'll be getting them in the mail soon hopefully.
Flying from Minneapolis is a bit random, eh Christa...my parents keep telling me to find someone to carpool with....But I think you're the only other Canadian remotely close to me. Ricky where are you from? Richard where are you from?

Christa how old are you? Or anyone else for that matter? The flight I think i'm going to book leaves Toronto at 9:30 and gets in Orlando at 12:30 or so. I believe I'm going to leave St. John's on the 4th and see TO for a few days. That way I'll have some time to come down off the "leaving home" mood. Did everyone get their work visas yet? Richard where are you flying from to get to Toronto?
