I couldn't believe it when I found out it was right next to premium outlets because I went there all the time and never realised the commons was right next door! I wanna go watch the daytona 500! but bet tickets are hard to come by!

Wow Sheena...what are the odds of you being a diver too. I am also a PADI certified open water diver and was hoping that someone down there would be as well. In fact i was going to post something about it.

Totally rad that you have it too. Looks like we are gonna have to make a ouple of trips to the beach

oh yeah..i got mine 2 years ago too. Only done about 4 dives but had an absolute blast. No wreck dives but i am open for anyting..even cavediving!! Love the adventure
The only equipment that i own in my mask...but i am figuring we will not be needing a wetsuit for down there so that is a bonus.

yeah i never bought any equipment just because i figured when i want to go diving it will be in placec like florida where i will just rent it for the day......not too expensive instead of playing massive amounts of money on brand new stuff

Daytona 500 would be soooo cool! I'm a jeff gordon fan, he won the last 500! I'm usually in florida for the both bike week and race week, you always know the week has arrived when you notice all the hotel prices shoot up for race week! I love bikes tho all the choppers and harley's! they are awesome! and when they drive past ya and all the ground shakes it's well cool! 8)

It's nice to see that some people are thinking about diving too!!

I'm hoping to get my certification while I'm in Florida...it's something I've always wanted to do and hey...this seems like the perfect time.

The only problem I'm seeing is that the classes are held on the same night every week...does anyone know if it would be possible to get the same day off every week for a certain period of time in order to do the classes???

Perhaps I'll keep searching and maybe find one of those 4 day weekend certification courses????

Either way...count me in for the diving possibility!

    I can join ISAT, can't I???? PLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAASE :)

A friendly word of advice Charlene :)...it would probably be better for you to get your certification up here before you go down. It will probably be cheaper and you will learn to appreciate the colder waters before you hit up the tropics. I definately reccommend you getting your license though. it is unreal!!

Hey Charlene, dont we go to school together?? Im one of Natalie's friends i think shes had tutoring by you! I would recomend the place i got mine done at. It was with Adventures in diving on canoteck road......Luke is the coolest instructor yu can have, and they will take you to diving in prescott for 4 dives on a weekend....so much fun, and they may also do a dive in morissons quarry (theres a sunken plane, and a car and stuff down in it) its really cool, but youd have a ton of fun learning to dive...before you go on your open water dives they do about 10 classes in a pool to help you learn the ropes...i hope this helps you out.
