Sooooo......... DID YOU GET THE EMAIL?!?!?!?!?!

ouch! when my friend moved over there, he was in the passport office waiting to get his greencard for around 9 hours!

 

I was only there for 2 1/2 hrs. Not that long really. Spent the day on Oxford Street with my dad and sister and then met up with them later after the interview.

 

that is what i am hoping to do...i just wanna know!

 

I know, the waiting is a killer. This year is going to be all about waiting though, for various things

 

true. even though this wait is no where near as long as the others. it seems the worst.

 

Yep, I hope we find out if were in or not before christmas, so i have a big motivation to do well in my exams. which are in january and may, hehe!

I think if we are all going at the same time, we should meet in london for getting our visas!

 

For those who are wondering, Yummy are still doing phone interviews, so chances of getting dates this week are looking slim...

 

It's always more waiting!
I wish they could tell those who already know they were successful, and give us first refusal on interview dates!
Oh well, we just have to play the game I suppose - I'm hoping Friday as all the other emails (for me anyway) came on a Friday!

we could all email them on fri eve/sat morn if we haven't heard by then
tho that might annoy them....
but i REALLY need to know dates cos i've got practicals, and meetings, and pesky lectures that i shouldn't really miss! and i'm on the exec of a society so have to plan meetings (and theoretically attend them!)
and train tickets are expensive, so might need the car!
tho if we're in the same place i may be able to pick some up...
it's so hard, and I quite want to go to aberdeen now!

I'm pretty much in the same situation Katie, have got practicals, fieldtrips and socials to organise. If i don't book our christmas meal soon we'll be in the local pub eating peanuts! I want to book the slug and lettuce...

And I want to organise a fancy dress party so i can dress up as a princess!!!!

 

Oh katie come to Aberdeen, thats where im going for my interview. I cant wait, ive not been to aberdeen in absolute ages.

 

or...liverpool! like me..though i may be sent to london or birmingham..this is why we need to know!

 

Do they send you to where they think you would be best to go to?

 

i think they take into consideration of where you live, and the amount of people who need to go where.

as anyone not go tpast the f2f stage?

Yeah same, I'm trying to save money too, and if not I'll put it towards another programme - BUNAC do some nice ones!
And retail therapy is great for healing problems! I was trying to justify a pair of boots, and then I found out I hadn't got a job, and all of a sudden I didn't mind!
