Leom you are the greatest! And I love the idea of the dinner/races thing, I hadn't thought of that. Might look into it - maybe not for Christmas but for a massive social. I love being social sec, I get to organise loads of cool stuff!!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone in Canada, and I hope everyone else had a wonderful weekend :).

Mint-I didn't get that e-mail so I'm a little bit freaked out!!! Do you mind telling me what it said and does this mean there are no Toronto interviews in the spring? Thanks! Toronto is the city I want to do the interview in.

I'm happy to go anywhere really!

  9. London is good for me. Some from our ICP '08 group had a gathering just before we went out in the summer and it worked out really well. We went to Hyde Park and then for a meal after wards. We could maybe do that though we would oviously be dependant on the weather and stuff.

That sounds good to me :) When did you do that - after you knew you'd been accepted?

    Thank you!
I Birmingham was suggested cos it is the best central point, but i dont mind going to london, cos i will have to go to london to get my visa if i get accepted to the program, so we could all meet then in london. But i was just thinking of a wdwip people meeting! Shopping?

  14. We did it in the June. It was a good icebreaker and a very good way to know people before we went out. And yeh it was after we all found out whether we got in or not. We had a brilliant time.

visa sorry, not essay. lmao. imagine you had to write an essay and go and pick your mark up. an essay on why you should be allowed to work in america and bit about where u want to work!

hehe that would be so scary if they decided based on an essay. It would be cool to all go and get our visas together and spend some time in london. When i got my visa for camp america i was in and out within 2 hours, had a really early appointment though. I met a few people who had waited 5 hours!! That would be horrible!
