hehe my mum's worried that i'll have problems with the myasthenia gravis but my dad's so excited for my - he's like me and doesn't worry about me. As long as I get good medical insurance I'm not bothered.

I'm pretty sure my job will let me have the time off, they did when I did camp america last year so hopefully it will be ok.

 

I'm hoping my work will, i will be using 5 weeks of it as holidays so i dont they would have a problem with the rest of it! I hope!

 

Just go for it I think! I'm sure any job that won't give you time off for your dream probably isn't a job worth having!
But then I can't really talk as I don't currently have a job and spent my summer volunteering instead!
Tho things are looking up - I have 2 job interviews lined up (tho ones for a xmas temp!)

Oh right, i am going to talk with my manager and see if its possible. My assistant manager said it will be fine but its not his decision, lol. Im off tomorrow so i will be sleeping in, i deserve a nice sleep.

What to do? That is totally what I'd set my heart on.

 

I know, my top 2 were operations and character attendant! boooo! But everything always works out for the best, so I know wherever (is that even a word?!) I'm put I'll be happy and make the most of it. Hopefully when we get to interview we'll be able to choose them though!

I agree ariella!! Haha I was half panicking reading most of the replies on this forum because I thought I clearly missed out on something.

But congrats anyway to EVERYONE who got through to F2F!! One step closer. Let us know how it goes! I'm excited for my interview, though it's going to be in Spring haha

 

So i think we are being told to reapply because yummy has made mistakes about whose doing what program before, this way we will be refined into one the many programs,

As for roles at the end of this summer, the disney company's entertainment waitlist for characters attendants was full, they changed the applications for attendents that you now are required to have multiple interviews. This might not effect the programs, but it could be a reason why C.A is not on the list, the other reason is because ops and C.A are so popular choices, they might want people to consider other jobs first, the list might change, usually the one at the interviews has alot more to offer.

 

I just set up a profile and applied on the yummy jobs website
I guess it makes sense they want to put us all on the right programs. lol.
I'm sooooo excited for the interview. but must do uni work. now!

 

Im having trouble with the yummyjobs website but ive been told to check back next week.
It says on the roles sheet that weve to fill it in and take it to the interview, but do we get another one at the interview aswell then?
i really want to know when the interviews are so i can start planning

 

me too - december in london will be sooo busy so I want to book everything and start preparing. Hope they tell us soon!

 

The Edinburgh ones are in October so i hope i find out soon, i think they maybe in the last week of October because the CRP f2f interviews are happening the 2nd last week in October. But thats just a guess.

Sooo - I suppose that makes sense if ops and CA are really popular. Still gutting if that's what you want to do tho (like me!)
But main entrance ops looks good, I like the thought of helping with parades! And welcoming everyone to the parks to wish them a wonderful day!

Maybe they'll tell us where they'll be after we've registered with Yummy again? Or maybe on Monday (for October ones?) cos they told us we'd got through early

I suppose only time will tell tho - the waiting is KILLING me!

The waiting is killing me but im paranoid i will jeopordise my interview because my yummyjobs profile is setting up properly. I just want to know when the interview will be.

I was really hoping operations would be there, but my two choices of merchandise and character performer are there so thats fine, i dont know whether to go for main entrance ops and backstage - costuming roles, what do use think?

 

I thought backstage costuming looked quite fun as well, and I wouldn't mind merch, but as I want to do the CRP at some point I'd like to do something else first, so I'll put it down, but prob bottom!
Do you reckon not checking that MK box for QS F&B would jeopardise the application? Cos I'm not too bothered where I work, but I'd prob work better in a quieter environment!
But I'm def putting main entrance ops down! Not sure what order I want to put things in tho, I'll prob put the ones with more options nearer the bottom to increase my chances of getting the others, but I prob won't decide for def until nearer the time!

I'm sure your application won't be jeopardised cos their website isn't working properly - if they don't get the stuff they want, I'm sure they'll ask again? I just want to know when and where so I can get cheap tickets (or work out if I should drive!) and sort out things if it clashes with anything! Cos this takes priority!

I want to do the CRP as well but it wont bother me if i do merchandise on the summer program and then again on the CRP. I dont think it will jeopardise because i dont think they would put it as an option would they, im not putting down QS F&B, i dont want to do food and beverage.
I dont know whether to put down main entrance ops, it does look interesting though!

I hope it isnt, i do have a profile but all my details are wrong except my address and name, its annoring me but alexis from yummyjobs says ive to try again during the week. My interview is going to be in Edinburgh but my mum and dad will be taking me over, its only like an hour and a halves drive away i think, maybe 2 hours!

 

i agree with kevus, it may be a case of them putting a few up then we will find out at the interview whether we can do the others. i will be looking at the attachment to see wht i would like to do just in case.

I am no way filling in my details until i hear back from yummy. just emailing htem to find out what is happening etc.

my main problem is which address to fill in, home or term time. im thinking term time. my main worry is this is going to confuse yummyjobs with all thsi registering. though my boyfriend has said the whole registering process is for their new website and they are trying something new.
