Wow it sure is a change of pace for me to see people actually excited about snow! I swear whenever a winter storm warning pops up on the television screen, a wave of groans can be heard throughout my town. Snow is pretty... as long as you're inside, beside a fireplace, wrapped up in a fuzzy blanket, and have no need to go outside into the white stuff haha! It's the cold I hate the most - walking to school for so many years definitely made me hold a grudge of sorts towards winter! Do enjoy the snow while you can though -- snow men, snow angels, and let's not forget.... SNOWBALL FIGHTS!
i was wrong this morning..i should have looked outside. it started to snow as i was typing. it fell very quickly ... i like the snow..just not the ice.
i dont like snow anymore i was going to get a flight this morning and it got cancelled which means i missed my boyfriend performing in a music competition (and he did really well) and am also missing my best friends 21st. im really sad now
It's still here as well though I haven't been home all week so I quite like it. Very pretty knowing I'm not leaving the house today.
Woke this morning, got ready for uni still with some snow on the ground, then just as I was about to leave it started to snow. The found out once again the uni buses continue if the driver wants to so there would be a chance of getting stuck on campus, and I got messages from other people on my course still having loads of snow. So another day off uni Although, I am bored of snow now. It will be funny though if it keeps like this over the weekend and then we run out of grit haha.
We made an ICP grad snowman! This snowman was made outside the Royal Albert Hall and then CARRIED down Queensgate, into halls, up the stairs, past CCTV, into the library and out onto the balcony. And then adorned with graduation ears and barbed wire (actually tinsel used to represent barbed wire in a play I was in over the summer lol) Beauty.
I've got another snow day! Our local council has cancelled all school transport today- so my school didn't see the point in opening. I'm definitely not complaining though ;D
ok we got 15cm yesterday...and no snow day...this is how it's work in quebec...need at least 20cm....but even though the university is never close...we got 60cm 2 years ago and the university still open...so risk your live for an exam...
Me neither, but we dont get enough snow falling for it to happen, like the snow is still lying but there is hardly any, certainly not enough to disrupt our lives like it has been in other parts of the UK. There hasnt even been enough to make a snow man. haha. just slidy pavements.
Aww, that's too bad, snow is fun! You can skiing, and snowboarding, and have snowball fights and play hockey! We always get a ton of snow, I think everyone is just used to it, so everything continues as normal.
Wow, i love skiing, i wish i could just go out and ski. it would be great if it snowed that much. Ill need to move somewhere like that when im older, a place where its roasting in the summer and then snowy in the winter, and go skiing most weekends, would be amazing. hehe.
we have 3/4 inches here and more to come woop woop! maybe it will mean i can post pone going back to uni :-\
Woohoo! It was snowing whilst i was at work and i came outside to find a lovely view of snow over the car park and hills, was amazing. Its just stopped, hopefully it will continue through the night.
The snow's just getting annoying now! Its enough that I can't drive to work, but not enough to keep me from going altogether so I have to get bus/train/bus to work instead which means I have to leave almost an hour early! BOO!
