*** Sitting,waiting,wishing...!!!***

I'm thinking I'm happy enough (enough, but only just!) to wait until next week before getting a bit more worried about anything. Esp considering that there's a bunch going out for the start of December that I'm sure takes up some of their time. Plus it could be that the decisions are more difficult than we think for disney to make so they're taking their time with it, working out start dates for people and what positions etc.

Since our 3 weeks aren't up yet I'll wait.

I'd maybe lay a bet that we get emails very late on Friday so no one can call for info until Monday once it's maybe died down a bit for yummy with new arrivals left by then!

linsey ur right....if they arent doing any more interviews until next november, that means they are probably arranging arrival dates right up until the end of 2007, so can u imagine tryin to arrange 100 new arrivals, assigning them dates, and roles, it takes a long time!! and thats just the year long program!!

dont worry guys, if nobody has started hearing yet, dont worry! i got a rejection about a week b4 most ppl heard if they had the job or not so maybe the let the ppl who dont get jobs know first? x

 

at interview they said they wer elooking for people up til september next year.

another day and no news its killin me. im also checking ym email all the time continually its getting pretty obsessive lol

 

see usually the november interviews are for positions from Jan til June, so sounds like they are recruiting a whole lot more than usual so could be the reason its taking a while! x

 

they said to us in Glasgow that it was likely that the start dates would be from June onwards. Maybe they have a few more spaces to fill earlier on in the year (I put down I could go from March) but the bulk are for later on.

I suppose it is SLIGHT hope sometimes not to hear then if rejection letters do go out early! The longer the wait is though, the more anxious we get full stop! I know I check my email ar work on my phone but only to see if somethings there. Don't know if I'm brave enough to open a letter on my phone or wait until home or not though! Wouldn't want to read it wrong on the small screen

 

I think my dream came true 6:30pm my time i received a phone call from "Jeff" at WDW International recruiting. He phoned to see what my availability was for a job....Whoohoo.

He said start date would either be this December or this coming February

I guess this is a "year of a million dreams". Right now I'm in shock and speechless. He will be calling later this week to discuss everything further

I suppose it depends how long they said it would take, if they said 3 weeks and its been over three weeks then i don't see why you couldn't email them now? Your only enquiring - plus its not up to yummy if you get the job i guess its all disney's decision isn't it?
