Hang on... how come I'm getting picked on!?!?! Lol... But the bagpipe idea would probably work... I can hear it now... "YES YES YOU CAN HAVE A JOB JUST STOP PLAYING!!!!" (not really... I'm very good (and modest) and they'd love my playing ;D)

Can you find a way of recording the conversation and putting it up here for us? Alternatively, send me your bagpipes- that, combined with my attempting to play my violin after having not touched it since I've been at uni should be enough to get them to hurry up!! Although I'm afraid I may be forced to kidnap the bagpipes in the process...

It is a bit daft to give a specific time in which to hear from and then to go over it. If I wasn't on these boards, I would be convinced that everyone else had already heard

I had to wait for a few weeks too but when it got too much i ended up phoning them, i spoke to Alexis and she told me over the phone, if yous really cant wait id phone them.

After what Carla said above though I might end up giving Yummy a phone... depends how long I can take the wait...

 

argh - i dont know what to do now - to phone or not to phone,that is the question!!!!!!!! I think il leave it untill this time next week before i think about calling them,our 3 weeks isnt up untill thursday so il leave it a bit longer!
Carla - after you phoned them do you know how long it was untill they started calling everyone else????

yeah - im going to just leave it for another week or so,i guess they must just be busy right now with the people who are heading out on Dec 5th,im sure we will start hearing after that group go out. Dont want to phone them and hassle them! Especially if ive not got in - how crap would it be to phone up demanding an answer and for them to say you hadnt got a place!!!!!!

wooohooo 2 stars!!! go you!!!!! only 50 more to go untill you will have 3 stars!!!!! yeah i think we will start to hear this time next week at the earliest,after all it wasnt actually jason that said 3 weeks - it was the disney wifey,so she might have meant that they would pass the info back to yummy within 3 weeks and then yummy would get intouch with us!

from what i know some people heard back a few days after the interview - lucky so and sos!!! I wasnt told the exact waiting time but knew it was roughly round 2 or 3 weeks. I was just getting seriously stressed, some other folk heard aswell by phoning them too. Its up to yous what to do. They were really busy though when i phoned oops!!!

sorry to be the bearer of bad news here but .... at the glasgow interview i was having a natter with jason from yummy and he told me that there wont be any more interviews untill Nov 2007 - due to the huge amount of applications that they have had this year.

See, I was told in August that I'd missed out on Nov and it would be Spring before I got a chance, then I was offered the interview about a week later and it was for now... so you never know they may 'find' place for an interview in there somewhere!

I'd likely apply again anyway and see what happens. i did put myself down for any program going. If I ended up getting the summer thing I'd maybe just go for it and then reapply while there for interview in November and try to do what Jilly got and get about 15 months out of it all or so!
