So true! Argh, I'd love to know this side of Christmas! Are you for the year or summer program?

i think after 50 posts it changes from newbie to earning your ears and then after 100 you are a full member!!
I dont think we'r going to hear anything today now......

 

You give up to easily - the day is young even though it will start getting dark soon!

If its an email i think we could receive it anytime, i got my email about my interview at around 10.30pm, so who knows, i just hope its sooner rather than later whatever the answer is!

 

I make 5 o'clock my cut off time... I do eventually need to leave the IT suite at uni so if there is nothing before 5 then that's it until the next day.
If I don't hear tomorrow though I don't know if I'll get on a computer again before Friday... (that'll eat in to me getting rid of my newbie status as well as not seeing my email!!!!)

 

Ohmygosh, that weekend without this board was pretty slow. I had all these questions suddenly and no-one was around to ask!
Of course, there are some lovely facebook and livejournal groups that I haunt occasionally, but they're mostly focussed on college programs. Glad everyones back here

Anyway, I hope you hear soon! I had to wait two weeks and was tortured enough through that.

 

i was so excited by an unknown number calling me today but it turned out to be my neices dad looking for her grrrrr!!!

3 weeks wednesday! although in the interview they said 3 weeks but they also said we'd know in december which woulds mean next week really.

im glad forums are back up i was like oh know everyones got replies already and i dont know about it!!! lol

 

ooooh I hated that - like, I would check my phone and get so psyched at an unknown number! - and it was like, the library or my aunt or my sisters friend or something. I was just about to tell everyone to stop calling the house at all until I heard back because AH the frustration after seeing it was just like, Blockbuster or something.

Same thing goes with email - it seemed suddenly I got a billion emails a day!

 

Has anyone been brave enough to ring Yummy and ask how much longer it will be?

 

lol, I was just wondering that. Maybe we should nominate one intrepid member to phone and ask them and report back!

They may be really busy right now too with the people who all start out there at the beginning of December... and I'm not brave enough. Not yet anyway. I'll give them until December. Round about then I'll get tired of my friends constantly asking if I've heard anything yet!

Well, don't think we'll be hearing in the three weeks- nothing today I was on w@p and checking my phone constantly all day- I think the people I was with got a bit annoyed

i really hope its soon there is a job i want to apply for here if i dont get the disney position and it closes on the 8th december so if i dont hear by then im gonna be applying for the job

Oh nos..I hope they aren't waiting unitl the December people are away. Thatll mean at least another week and a half wait. I might explode by then

 

I hope the don't wait that long! I'm holding out to hear by the end of this week. If it's too long after that then that's just cruelty! though to be fair, it's not so bad as long as no one else knows, cos then it's not just waiting for a rejection later to come afterwards...

still, I want to be in on enough time to reapply for interviews in March if I don't get in this time.

 

sorry to be the bearer of bad news here but .... at the glasgow interview i was having a natter with jason from yummy and he told me that there wont be any more interviews untill Nov 2007 - due to the huge amount of applications that they have had this year. I think he was refering to the 1year cultural rep program so i guess you could awlays apply for the other programs but he def said that to me! But hopefully you will get in this time and then wont need to worry about any of that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They really need to start telling us all this week - they have kept some people here waiting for 4 weeks now,crazy stuff!!!!
Im going to give them till early december before i think about getting intouch with them - they did say we would hear before the "winter break" so still a few weeks left to go - really hope its sooner rather than later tho....
Ho-hum,away to my bed now,ready for another fun filled day of waiting tomorrow!!!!! x

Except I know I'm never going to get annoyed, just more and more obsessed with my mobile/ Internet/ wap... I swear this cannot be good for our health...

 

You people should all count yourself very lucky for only a couple of weeks wait. Previously, up until about a year ago you had to wait a couple of months to find out if you were even being considered!!
