SHOULD I STAY OR SHOULD I GO

Yeah i suppose your right, if you start lying you wont be able to stop till you get caught. All i heard her say was "i applied and got declined so a few days later i applied again with a better cv but with a different email address and got accepted" so i assumed she made a new account or is going by a different name.... unless she emailed them asking for another chance or something.

ahhhhhh yeah ive seen her stuff on you tube, shes really funny!!!!! i think what she means tho is that she improved her CV and stuff, not that she made it all up the 2nd time, i think she maybe just re worked the CV to make it sound better and stuff. Ive watched a lot of her stuff on you tube and she seems cool (hello michelle if you ever read this!!) i dont think she lied,thats the point im trying to make! lol!!! dont want to offend anyone!!!

what i was meaning was someone basically making up that they had held jobs etc that they never had or saying they had done things that they never ever had, thats just bang out of order!

 

yeah, all i thought she changed was her email address and a new cv lol by new, i meant she made it more presentable, not that she lied or anything shes seems to have done well

 

maybe i should do that, however, having said that, my current CV which is more than presentable and mentions the fact that id worked for disney on three seperate occasions (the icp, crp and at the disney store) didnt get me through, so i doubt that a differnt email address would help

 

be worth a shot, who ever read your last application might of been having a bad day lol

 

See, i would consider it, but i wouldnt want to do it if it were considered cheating, however, i dunno, if its just the same CV with the same name address etc, and just a different email address-what would you guys think? at this late stage i find it totally unlikely to change anything anyway.

 

You could try - maybe changing the cover letter and hope it gets read by someone else than who read it the first time round

well i havnt heard anything about anyone getting caught for re-applying with a different account. Whats the worse that could happen? I seriously doubt they would ban you, if they caught on they would probably just say "we know you have already applied and been declined so stop applying" lol

 

Do it - the worse they can do is say sorry you have to wait until the enxt round to reapply - at least it shows your keen if they do see you have applied twice

 

Well I was told during my interview over 900 people have applied so far, so you stand a good chance if you reapply, they may not realise depending upon whos looking at them.

 

well, i did apply about a week ago, but i think the september 6th deadline was just a random date-if you didnt apply some time in June(as i did first time ) you aint got a hope in hell i reakon-giventhat its the 2nd today, im not holding my breath

 

Tbh though there's some new people who have joined forum who have had interviews both last week and this week. You could still get the email.

 

How long after you applied did you get the rejection letter?

 

hey, i think for those who applied on the 21st June the emails for phone interviews & rejections got sent out around the same time, which was around the 17th August i think. For those who have applied more recently than that im not sure how long its taking for yummy jobs to get back to them.....??

 

Ah okay, thanks. I applied on the 17th of August, or around that date anyways, but it's only this week they've been able to actually check my application.
