Jessy - Bringing cheap, German chocolate from Lidl would probably make you the most popular person at the Commons among those with a sweat tooth! I bought some to take home to a friend and, umm, ended up eating most of it. (Good excuse for another trip to the grocery store though!) And isn't Haribo candy German? I used to eat waaaaay too much of that stuff when I first moved to Britain. Eventually I clued in that excessive amounts of fabulous Haribo goodness might have explained my expanding waist line! ;)

Nichol - what are mooncakes?!?! I've never heard of them and anything which such a cool name HAS to taste great!

I can try and bring some Canadian stuff but, well, you can probably buy most of it from Wal-Mart anyway! Oooh, maybe Canadian maple syrup...?

I will bring various bars if you like, provided you take me to the gym the day after we ate them!!! :D
and HARIBO is def german, and although I am not such a big fan of those stuff, I can bring some Haribo candy over to Orlando!!! ;D

Oh yeah, eating all this stuff and then riding the rock n roller coaster must be funny!!!  :p

@Nichol - I heard of mooncakes haven't got a clue what they are tho!! and Karaoke, u won't get me up singing!! when I was younger I used to sing 'Nesondorma (by Pavarotti) go on laugh!! lol :D :D Don't know if I still have that in me now! lol

@ Jessy - I utterly promise to go to the gym with you! I'm somewhat of a gym rat... I used to go, like, four or five times a week depending on when I had a lacrosse practice or game. (Rereading that, I sound rather pathetic. :D)

@ Craig - don't worry about packing! As long as you have the essentials ironed out (passport, tix, etc.,) you can pack within mere days! Usually I am pretty much packing right up to the last minute if it's an afternoon or evening flight. However, that might explain why I sometimes wind up searching for something in my bag that is still sitting on a bed at home.

Woo! The days are going! I am sooo excited!

Did you guys ever go on the "floorless" rollercoaster at Sea World? I haven't been there since they built it but it looks soooo scary from the road.

Well.... this clearly explain what mooncakes are! lol

Mooncakes are round in shape to symbolize the moon. According to legend, when the Mongol Yuan Dynasty ruled China in the 14th century, Chinese rebels were able to overthrow the Mongols in part because they hid secret messages inside mooncakes, which the Mongols did not eat, that were then passed around.

Most mooncakes are made of ground lotus, or of bean or seed paste, and other ingredients, occasionally with egg yolks in the center. Different types of bean paste, from mung bean paste to azuki bean paste, can be used; in any case, the preparation of the bean paste is very time-consuming, requiring two to four weeks, so families usually buy them at professional bakeries instead of making the mooncakes themselves. Sometimes one or two dried, salted whole egg yolks are baked inside.

Mooncakes are expensive and considered a delicacy, and modern mooncakes come in many flavors and sizes. There are even fat-free forms for the health-conscious (traditional mooncakes are often baked with lard).

so if you're allegric to any ingredients... Oops, sorry! lol  ;D

here's a pic of one of the traditional mooncakes!

Thus, we will get us a fast pass and ride the TOT etc. over and over again!!! oh and the worst case would be that you throw over and we have to hold your hair back, but since you've got short hair there won't be a job for us at all!!! lol ;D
