we should definately get to see some bands when we're out there. I know its not disney but Universal Studios are doing a really cool two day thing. Im gonna go if im not working cos i wanna see Relient K. I love them! They're playing on Saturday 10th.

1. Go to http://www.tickerfactory.com
2. Choose what category you want yer ticker would be (let say for example - "event" - then click on it)
3. Then.. Select your ticker ruler (click "more design" for more rulers types)
4. Click "Next" after you selected one
5. Then Select your ticker slider...
6. Again, click "Next" after you selected one
7. Configure Your Event Ticker and click "Next"
8. then copy the bb code!!!!!
9. finally.. paste it on "signature" space here on edit your profile!

and its all DONE!!!

OMG I think I'm actually gettin all excited for like the first time!! I'm think only 9 days to work then leaving!! then 22nd August it's visa interview time and then the packing stage...mum will help lol ;D

I'm not sure if everyone's the same working day.. cos in my letter, it says my work begin on the 8th Sept! or maybe we have to wait to get our schedule after the orientations???  :

i checked out that site as well.. dont really know much of the bands but im sure it would be fun to hang or have fun there as long as i dont have to work that day! lol...

 

okie, firtsly: the visa interview was great.. i just returned from Berlin... should be send to my house within 4 days!!!

And yeah , we should go to that festival... sounds fantastic!!!
In fact, the Germans will have some lessons the first 4 days after their arrival. and then we still have like 6 days to get everything sorted out!!! Hope to meet ya all during that time, as I really wanna check out the parks!!! TOT, Craig and Nichol, remember!!!

and Nichol, same thing with me. have to wait for my flight ticket and then I am more than ready to go!!!

@craig...a big bloke is a big pint glass. At outback they call the pint glasses BIG BLOKES and the half pints SHEILAS. Very cool.

im not a fan of karaoke like my mates do.. they go to those karaoke lounge and stuff like 5 days a week! lol.. i duno how they could manage that but i like going once for a while ... and im definitely not a good singer! hahaaa

@ Jen...I love going to Karaoke...like many others, you have to get me drunk to get me onstage, but I'll be cheering along and "chair-dancing" until I get to that point!

I'm really in disbelief now that it's less than one month until we leave!! I'm in the process of packing my apartment up to go into storage...it's hard to separate what's going and what's staying....not like I'll be able to tell my friends to go and pull out that box that's in the farrrrrr left corner of the mini-storage underneath the 3 million other boxes and send me that one thing that I want! Ahhh well, I can always buy new things ;D

again @ Jen...I saw somewhere on here that you're coming through Ottawa on your way down to Orlando, are you flying from O-town on the 6th?? or will it be an earlier visit??

 

Fabulous - fellow karaoke fans! I'm one of those people who has only about .00000001 ml of pride (yes, that is how they measure pride ) so I can be the most sober person in the bar and still race to be the first one at the mic.

@ PixieDust - I'm going to be in Ottawa on Sep 3rd - 4th, then I'm flying down to Orlando on Sunday evening to spend Monday with my parents as they are going to be there on holiday! (This was actually planned before I got accepted into the program so it's quite good timing!)

I have a boatload of ppl I want to see in Ottawa but I think I'm going to start a thread closer to leaving time to see if anyone wants to get together for a rendez-vous at some point over the weekend.
