Sometimes the days seem to FLLLLLY by....!

And then there are days like today. Ugh. Is it really not September yet? :(

If you have a dvd player you would burn your music as mp3s onto CDs - it really saves on a LOT of space. And some CD players play MP3 files, don't they?

We don't need visa interviews in Canada 8) That's what living in the extremely large shadow of "the most powerful nation in earth" gets ya! That and a lot of imports.

    Looooong day at work ::)

    Where do u work Jen?

I know what u mean I have those looooooong days all the time! and I don't think my manager likes me cos I'm leaving soon!! so she makes life harder! I just avoid her the best I can!

and no it's still July!! not september quite yet!!

yeah come CD players play MP3's, altho I'm just about done copying them all anyway so no matter!

@ Craig - No, I didn't try hanging out by Murrayfield Stadium for the Live8 concert... I was told not to even bother trying to get to the area without a ticket or some sort of proof of residency! However, I found out the day after the concert that the place where I was temping just the WEEK BEFORE had free tickets for their staff. So if I had been there, like, literally two days longer, I would have been able to score tickets. Ah well, thus is life!

I actually have two jobs going on at the moment; a dreadful temp job by day and I bartend at my local a few nights a week. I LOVE bartending! However, I'm not so keen on the day job. (I'll withhold saying for whom I working as it's not really fair to them. It's not the place I dislike, it's the never-ending filing. Seriously, I have never seen so much paper. Ugggggh.)

So what are you guys all doing for the summer to kill time before September?

@ Kara - what do you do in the parade dept? Are you actually IN the parades?!?! I've been to DLP a couple of times and LOVED it! The castle is soooo much prettier than it's American counterparts!

I am working in my full time job until 20th august. I work at Tesco as a section manager. very boring! can't wait to leave! in between I am spending as much time with friends and family as poss!

I don't like the DLP castle! the Disney world one is best!

I am def with you on that one craig. I don't really like the Castle in DLP, for it is Sleeping Beauty's Castle and I prefer Cinderella as a character.. :D
Moreover, Cinderella's castle is prettier and bigger and more magical to me.... lol

anyway, our own house ( castle... lol) is a semi-detached house which does not look like any castle at all.. thus I should shut up... ;D

Hey !! I will arrive september 6th to Orlando! Hello everyone! especially to those who arrive sept 6th!

Until then ...why don't you bake a chocolate cake!? :p

    INGREDIENTS:
1 (18.25 ounce) package dark chocolate cake mix
1 (3.9 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
    3 eggs
    1/3 cup vegetable oil
    1/2 cup coffee flavored liqueur
    2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

    DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10 inch Bundt pan.
In a large bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, sour cream, eggs, oil and coffee liqueur. Beat until ingredients are well blended. Fold in chocolate chips. Batter will be thick. Spoon into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, or until cake springs back when lightly tapped. Cool 10 minutes in pan, then turn out and cool completely on wire rack.
