Hello Medardo and everyone else!

Sorry, I neglected the forum for a while.. I've been working a lot lately and days have been flying by. But you're right: September is indeed getting closer!!

I'm looking forward to receiving my Disney package with all the info, even though I believe it won't be delivered till late May/early June or so.

Apart from that, I'm planning a trip to Germany to see some very dear friends of mine before the great departure...but that too won't be before August!

It's good to be back here and finally be able to share some enthusiasm about our upcoming experience... I'm still keeping it all quiet over here because I doubt my current employer would renew my contract next month if he knew I was leaving!! And I sure don't want that!!

Anyway, congrats to ya'll whether you're Guest Relations, Merchandise or F&B!

Hey Lucy,

I'm flying out September 7...and if Disney's travel agency keeps up the same schedule, I'll be flying from Milan to London (Heathrow, I'm pretty sure), London-Atlanta, Atlanta-Orlando. We'll likely be on the same flight.
I remember we caught the flight in Atlanta barely on time! The schedule was really tight and we arrived at the Commons after 10pm... definitely exhausted! Especially because you gotta be by the clubhouse at 8 (or 8.30) the next morning!!

I talked to Corinne... the telephone interviews shall be in Summer (we got a document via Mail, have to fill it out and hand it in with a photo ID not before 1st July 2010) ... the castings will be in September/October this year and the earliest departure date is 1st December 2010.... hopefully I'm lucky and make it that date...

Lucy, good for you - a direct flight definitely is the best solution. I'm letting International Services organize my trip so I simply cross my fingers and hope it will work out smoothly... one never knows these days, volcano and all!

Still no info package...*sigh*

Birgit, good luck! It'll take a while but you should know when your departure date is not long after the interview. I had mine in September 2009, in October I already knew I'd have to wait 11 months before departing...... I had more luck in 2003 when I 'only' had to wait 6 months....
Follow all the instructions for the interview and you're good to go.

Looking forward to reading what ya'll are up to.
