do u mean sheets as in cash or sheets as in bed sheets?

i bought some nice pink bedsheets the other day and 2 pillow cases, then i had a dream that they didnt fit lol

pmsl i just realised that was really obvious if i had read the post b4 jo's more carefully doh!

Just been thinking out loud on msn to mike about my money...

500 quid is about 900$....and i think my mum will give me some $ prob...so even if i have 1000$ to take..

im gonna split that into 4 envelopes, one for each week...to cover my first 4 weeks til I get a decent paycheck, so if i have 1000, that will be $250 each week....thats plenty im thinkin?

just a fitted sheet for single bed size

im gonna get a disney duvet out there i think so i got pink sheets coz i know il pick something girly like disney princess or tinkerbell

i got my scottish flag from a sports shop. im wanting to look for some scotland bed covers, heehee!! ooo also dont forget to bring photos of your family and friends, i have mine all looked out ;D

hey guys, it's been a while since i haven't wrote anything here !!

that's cause i've been having lots of trouble getting my passport... so i was worried i couldn't come... BUT i finally got it today, and i have my visa appointment on wenesday in Paris !!

I'm wondering if we will all go on the same plane from London (since i've heard even french people have to go to London to fly to Orlando.

Anyway,can't wait to meet you guys !!

I'd heard that US an UK sizes were differant as well. I was just going to bring a duvet cover to use as a sleeping bag, a thin blanket and a pillow and get the rest over there.

 

i read measurements on here for the sheets disney give u...cant remember where...and its the same size as the sheet i bought

 

Hey all,

Disney DO NOT supply your bed sheets only the bed itself. To be honest for all the room sheets and stuff are going to take up you may aswell use some spares we have and buy some the next day, ull spend no more that $50 on all the stuff you will need for your bed. Upto you tho what ever makes you feel better for your first night.

I got payed today!! Not alot but anything more that $700 dollars if you are not paying your flight outright will be fine.

Di im gonna take one bit suitcase on the way there aand try and get as many clothes in hand luggage as poss to free up space.. thats the goal anyway!!

Hey guys- how is everyone? recovered from yesterdays convo lol

About the sheets thing... Wheni got here i decided to go for the cheap option and i just bought a blanket from wlamart and i bought flat sheets from home (not fitted cos of the beds being different sizes- although i dont think they are that much). BUT then i ended up going to walmart and spending another $70 on bed stuff- and this is why... The beds here are fine- comfy and all, but for a bizarre reason the mattresses are kind of plasticy so they rustle every time you bloody move! Soooo I would suggest to everyone to buy a fitted mattress cover from walmart- a decent one is only $17 and sleeping is now bliss.. ALSO i was of the mind, well it florida, so its hot right? I wont need more than a blanket-worng! lol. Maybe its just my room, but its bloody freezing sometimes- so i bought myself something which they call a comforter over here (they dont have duvets for a bizarre reason, they have a comforter which is effectively a thin duvet, with the ocver attatched) so i bought myself a comforter set too, with pillow case and bed skirt for $35. The pillows from wlamart are only $3 aswell, so ive got some of them ;D

So basically what Im saying here is when you get here, there are a few bed things youill need- they make it feel homely as well as being practical. I cant believe i actually waffled on this long about bedding..... Oh well hope it helps
