Could someone please send me the role list aswell? it isn't attached with any of my emails :/ I would really really appreciate it!
Oh I never realised it was attached to that e-mail. Well I have found it now lol. Has anyone began to think about what role they are interested in?
i didnt get a role list attachment but i am still unsure as to which roles i would want to do im leaning towards character attendent but at the same time i would like to try opertions if i could get to choose the ride
hey ive emailed it to 3 of you who sent me your emails so hopefully it works and you can open the attachments! im so undecided on roles i jsut don't know what to do! at the moment im going with character attendent operations character peformer
I am contemplating Merch, custodial and the costume stuff behind scenes (could be interesting) I looked at operations bt i'm no good at acting out long speils and knowing me that is what i would get lol.
merch is one i might put down as well but im not sure! i'll probably change my mind again by next friday...i thought about costuming as well but i didnt feel i knew enough about it to agree to it... like nobody on here seems to mention it and i wasnt sure i wanted to do a role that didnt involved guest interaction
Merch is great unless you get Strollers Opt sounds really nice but most people get Fantasyland attractions or operational roles wich arent that fun to do
i did character attendant from November until February of this year and it was AMAZING, best job ever... entertainment is a world of its own!! and now I'm going back again and i don't want to do anything else!! ;D
I'm no to sure what a Butlins Redcoat is because im from australia... but what i got to do as a character attendant is work in all 4 parks in a different location every day, with a different character you just maintain lines, talk to the guests, give out stickers, help take photos, help with autograph books, maintain character integrity, also helping out a bit off stage, just with costumes and all that kind of stuff it was an easy job but so much fun when you were placed with a really good character operation toy story at the studios was by far the best but yeah, i think that will kinda answer your question...
I'm thinking of applying for character performer.. has anybody played that role? what's it like? does it get too hot in there?
Currently thinking of: character assistant Character Operations Merch Would love to entertain, how likely is it that you get the roles you want? especially when it comes to entertainment roles?
Highly unlikely if you're on the college program..though I suppose it's probably not unheard of. Singing roles are out because you have to be an Equity performer and have the right visa I think.
as far as I know no international cast member is allowed to be a face character. most of the dancers/singers are equity and to be equity you need to go through a whole other process thats not disney related. Thought you can be on shows wich require dancing as long as you are in character. Example: you could get to be Minnie in mickeys jungle jamming parade or geppetto on spectromagic or things like that¡¡¡
i would love to be in the parades as a character. i can understand the reasons behind the face character decision.
