Hey don't worry about it - it could have been a no! And like I said before, people are dropping out and getting terminated all the time. Doncha just love how I have my fingers crossed for someone to get terminated  :

 

Julie did make a big point of telling us at the interview how people were terminated every day, but being on the maybe list makes u wander wot ur gonna do in september, cos if they call in august i can't just drop uni! I guess i'll just have to get a regular job that i can quite at short notice!

HEy everyone...I was a 'maybe' too...had already come to terms with that last friday so am feeling ok about it now....kind of feel like I'm in limbo too.....what am I supposed to do now? this was the next bit of the plan....just doss around in some crappy job til I can go!! and if nothing comes up by October, I'll definitely be reapplying!!

Sorry to everyone who got 'no's'....I really didn't think they'd do that over the phone! and as far as I know, there were no 'yes' calls today....so I don't know what that 'some positions are being filled on monday' thing was about!!

Sorry to hear your a maybe too Ellen, thought you would definantly get it purely because you`ve got 5 gold stars on here!!!! very dedicated. Just have to hope people get sent hom ein the next week and our dreams come true!!! dont wish to be nasty, hopefully people decided they want to come home (sounds nicer)

Hi everyone i'm a maybe too which makes me feel no different to be honest. I was wide awake last night listening to my epcot cd just hoping for a miracle but no that never came! I can't do suppply teaching while i wait either cos you have to get your 1st teaching job within 4 terms and if i get in i can't do that so prob just office work. : ah well, the wait continues i'm afraid.

I'm another maybe as well, but like Ellen had already come to terms with not getting a yes last week - I'm not keen on being in limbo, but I will definitely be trying again, I'm not giving up at the first hurdle.
