You might think we're kidding about being scared but seriously; when you see the real pin geeks that come to the parks with suitcases ....... full of pins. Or the fake pin people. Seriously. Who makes fake pins just to trade?!? : Wow!

Although.............., do keep an eye out for one cool fake pin. There's a series of snowwhite and the seven dwarfs pins. It's rare to see the whole set together. I only saw it twice he whole year. There's one for snowwhite and each dwarf. There is also a ninth pin. Of the lesser known dwarf; Hungry. Lol! So random. Keep an eye out for it. It's around alot. ;D

What was I saying about not being a pin geek??? :-\ ;D

i love pin tradng to - does anyone know if u can do it if your in f&b cos of safety etc?? ;D

 

If I remember it correctly we only did in it merch. Due to safety reasons ( you will all be working with food all the time, just imagine one falling off the lanyard into something, Disney would be sued like hell ) I think f&b people weren't involved in the trading. I could be wrong, as I was working merch....I would have loved to be f&b just for that reason haha I was sooo happy for all the times we didn't have enough lanyards

Lol, I haven't bought many over here, I get most of them when I go on holiday to Florida - I tend to buy a pin a day, god help me lol!!!

Yeah, when you arrive, the uk merch pin rep. should sort you out. You'll get a lanyard and 12 pins. Castmember lanyards should always have 12 pins.

Haha Ona...we had like 3 lanyards with 12 pins and the rest of them were with 2 pins...never had enough because someone was going around stealing them....

 

Lol yeah it's funny that isn't it. Those damned annoying pin fairies, I don't know. : ;D

We weren't actually too bad to be honest. The problem was more to do with getting people to actually wear their lanyards. I don't get it. Why wouldn't people want to be dragged around by the neck all day. ??? ;D ;D ;D

Well I can tell you why Ona! LOL : We only had one guy stealing all the pins lol The others weren't that bad at all ( you know sometimes a very cute pin just disappeares lol )

Greeters in F&B can wear lanyards, otherwise, yeah it's a safety issue.
