Pin Trading??

I've got over 200 pins I think, I've not counted for ages! yeah I trade with all those people at downtown disney they have some cool pins!

 

I'm a pin-oholic lol, I think I had over 300 last count, I've been collecting them for a few years and I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the cast member pins lol.

 

300 Pins X $5.00 (average cost) = $1500 !!!

All I can say is Wow.

 

300 pins is nothing!!! You should see some of these people!!!!!!!!!!

I remember a 50 something year old man pushing a stroller full of pin books...no kid in sight...on the pin event weekend!!! Ridiculous!

Lol, I'd rather not look at it like that!!! I have been collecting them since 2000 when they really started to push the pin trading at Disney again - it was all part of their millenium village if I remember right.

I'm addicted lol, I dread to think how may I'm going to buy in a year

 

It's cool, I will admit I spent a huge part of my Disney Money on those pins when they started.

 

I hated pin trading with a passion! I made the same experiences like Shanny. People grabbing and pushing you just because of some stupid pins. And some people were absolutely crazy with their books full of pins.
I am glad I don't have to do it anymore, I'm traumatized for life lol
I always took the nice ones off my lanyard so they wouldn't bother me haha ( great CM I was ). You will also get pins from Disney for special occasions ( holiday season ), which I admitt was kinda cool.
I also got one when I went to check out the last interviews and talked to the people who are applying now. A special "alumni" pin :

anna did u get any of the 'main street electrical parade' farewell pins?? the spinner one of those is really rare I managed to get one from magic kingdom but it was like the last one! and I was really lucky when I went in november to find another one of the pins (there were 3 different ones I think) on a cast members lanyard! I saw it and chased her around the big hat at mgm to get it!

awww pin trading, i have the odd few, nothing major, im always gettin the winnie the pooh and eeyore ones... bit of an eeyore freak LOL

but i bet ill gain a fair few while im over there!

i remember last time I was there the incredibles was released and they brought out a different pin in each park so we went around and did all 4 parks in one day just to get all the pins! lol!

I missed one tho! the one with violet on but that was only on the cruise line and we wasn't doin that as well in one day too! lol!
