Yeah, that´s not very clever to complain about your Norwegian roommate when she´s in the same room... I guess I´d be able to understand a little Norwegian myself or at least guess what they´re talking about.

Plus, it´s not fair to do so; if you´ve got a problem you should tell the person right to his or her face what you´re problem is and not behind their back.
