I think its kinda what they do-a different publicity thing every year-when i was there in 2005 summer, they made a big deal fo the 50th anniversary-i think it was called the `happiest celebration on earth`
I think it's unfair that only CM's in Epcot's World Showcase were allowed their home towns/countries on their HCoE nametags...nobody (both CM's and guests) believed I was from England, just because my accent wasn't very strong. Meanies.
I'm thinking that maybe we'll get a special nametag due to the fact it'll be EPCOT's 25th Year Anniversary. I know there won't be a celebration of sorts, maybe a few upgrades to some attractions (O Canada film, El Rio De Tiempo etc..) but being such a major part of the park the world showcase maybe a focal point to the 'unofficial' celebration. Not much maybe added but would be pretty cool
people thought i was South African-i come from near liverpool. In the end i stopped correcting them-by the end of my three months there id established an entire new life in Cape town ;D
Sorry, to be a complet stalker....but looking at your name badges (which is one of the things I quite looking forward to) ....I'm from Crewe in England as well! How cool!
Order as many nametags you possibly can. They're free. I have like ten of them at home. First I got one without hometown or languages (we who speak languages other than English, get them on our nametag, if you didn't know) then they got my hometown wrong then they got the hometown wrong again then I put down the area of my hometown I was from instead of the city (like Manhattan, instead of New York) then I put down the part of that area in the city I'm from (like Harlem, instead of Manhattan or New York) then we got new ones for the year of a million dreams and I don't know what the other ones are about
They cost $5 now. They made me pay for a new one when they were the ones to make the mistake on my name tag.
