Phone Interview........

i got told on the phone that london f2f this year there will be limited space so we're more than likely to be sent to the other interviews :S

 

Well Becky was really nice. She asked me all the same questions as katiej22 and the only time i could pick was the 20th June because of my uni timetable of exams booooo hope this doesnt affect me getting in as there are limited places on this one. good luck to everyone else that has their interviews coming up xD

 

I was also asked if I would like to do the same role or a different role if I got back in!
Hmm steph, Becky said to me that London would be a big recruitment for people.... maybe one of them was wrong?

PS -kandicombo, I think there were some people at my F2F last year who applied through unis - I think you have an initial F2F and then the final one with the others (and the Disney recruiters - I don't think the initial ones are with them?) if you're successful? I'm not 100% though!
Also, just one tip - if they ask you your favourite Disney thing, make sure it's Disney! The girl I interviewed with mentioned osmething not Disney... don't know if she got in or not.

hey Katie theres no problem telling them what my favourite disney thing is, i have a list as long as my arm lol. I dont think i could cope with two F2F interviews this one is nervewracking enough and then there is the waiting - its gonna kill me!!!
I really hope i get in because this is something i've wanted to do since i was about 5 and i'm now 24.

at the london interviews last year, before the presentation we were asked what the newest disney ride was...someone said The Simpsons. Jeff just said 'um...no...that's at a little park down the road that we don't talk about' hahahaha whoever it was must've been so gutted, it's not really a very good start to your interview.

Mine is in 15 minutes, I am offically nervous now. I have Marloes, but I don't think anyone's had an interview with her yet which worries me slightly! What if she's mean!

Edit: Just had mine - Marloes is really nice! She asked me pretty much the same questions as everyone else, and also how well do I cope with new situations, and am I an enthusiastic person. I wasn't sure what to say for the last one, but I mentioned getting involved in lots of things at school and stuff, so I'm hoping it was ok. She also said they'd hopefully contact me within 10 days, and that the F2Fs are in mid-November.

She said 10 days? That's good to hear! When I make it to the F2F, I have to travel from Holland to the UK and flying is much cheaper when I book some weeks beforehand instead of booking short before I fly. So the earlier I know, the better it is. And I guess everyone just want to know!

 

Yeahh, there should be about two-three weeks before finding out and having the F2F, so if you do get in you'll have plenty of time

 

Got mine today, with Chloe!!!!!! She is just awesome!!!!

She told me that I did it very well, oh i'm sooooooooo excited!!!!!!!!

I asked her about the date of June 20 and that I finished in June 13 my uni but I could talk to my teachers and she said that she doesn't think it would be any problem to go on 20

 

Just had my phone interview with Hannah!

I was SO nervous but it seemed to go well! lol!

Only lasted aboout 10 minutes and we chatted quite freely and I enjoyed the interview! She was really lovely!

Lets hope they liked me! hehe

Hi all - I had my phone interview on Friday Just found this website via a blog - gutted I could have prepared for the questions before If I'd known!! I was asked the same questions as many although I messed up bigtime on the 'unhappy customer at a retaurant' question.. I was just a bit akward and kept emphasising words wrong because I was so nervous! I think I said 'YES I AM enthusuastic, yeah, yeah..' *long pause* The lady was lovely though - Good luck everyone!

 

I am actually so excited for the interview! Lol I've been researching all day (too hung over for my lectures ha ha) and I've come up with alot of answers I would use for the questions so yeah, I'm pretty happy I'll be fine. Obviously, I'm not over confident, I just think I'll be able to answer the questions but wether I'll answer them well is another thing lol :-\

 

Hi, I'm new to this site. Found it half an hour before my interview.
Found it very usefull to find out what questions they ask. Thankyou people for for posting up the questions they asked.
The questions she asked was :
What University and course you are doing?
Why should you be picked to join Disney next year?
(As my family own a Karting Centre she asked) I see in your CV you have something about Go-Karting tell me more about this
How do you feel about sharing a flat with 8 people and sharing a bedroom?
When are you available for next year? (She told me the dates that were available)

I'm from Ireland and I am SO excited that I got a phone interview from Yummy Jobs!!! what are the odds of me getting a f2f interview????

 

well there are over 500 people that got through 2 the phone interview and they are still accepting applicants. I not sure how many get through to F2F but im sure it will be quite a few of us. Have you had your phone interview yet??

 

they said at my uni they accept 1000s of students =/ not sure how true that is tho lol x
