Phone Interview........

I chose the 20th June-September 3rd one too, I think the other June one was the 1st and my uni doesn't finish til the 4th, so annoying

 

All my hand in dates for uni are mid-may so I am hoping for the june 1st date and yes it has been extended by a week by the looks of things! Can anyone remember the other dates they mentioned - start and finish?

When I went in 2008, they emailed round after the spring f2f interviews asking if anyone would prefer the earlier dates (there were only 3 dates to fly out that year) but I had to go for the latest date which that year was june 22nd... it worked out fine

 

I think she said it was also May 2nd and May 20-something, might have been 25th or 26th, I only got told the finish date for the one I chose, sorry I can't be more specific!

 

haha no worries - I didn't choose a specific one I just said the later two would probably be better for me but I'd find out soon from uni when would be the earliest I would leave. I think the May ones started on the 2nd or 3rd and the 23rd? maybe? who knows! ???

 

Last year it was May 22nd to August 8th!

 

Hey everyone, haven't been able to get online for weeks because I haven't had the internet in my new house at Uni! Finally got it today though my phone interview is on Monday at half 10, I'm excited but nervous too! Good luck to everyone with theirs coming up x

 

Mine is tomorrow morning at half 10!!! I'm soooooooo nervous now!! Anyone have any tips for the phone interview?

 

did they give you the end dates as well? september 3rd seems very late compared to normal!! i only got told the start dates...

 

just relax and take it easy
the best advise is to just be yurself and give 100% honest answers
they just want to get some backround info on you and get to know you a bit better

 

She definitely said 3rd September, but she did say that these were just dates they are saying at the moment to see which are the most popular, so these could change I guess.

iain89uk > Don't speak too fast, give them all the answers they want, be positive about everything and think of a couple of questions you could ask in case your interviewer asks at the end about any questions you might have - always looks better if you ask something.

 

Just had my interview!! I was really nervous and I cant help but feel that I said it would be a fantastic opportunity too many times! At least that's it over with. Has everyone else got dates arranged?

Just had my interview ;D I was kind of nervous but fingers crossed it went well!

 

Nice to hear! I have mine in one hour, at 12:30... Getting a little nervous now, but I think (and hope) it will go well.

 

Hannah is lovely if that's who's interviewing you, so I wouldn't be too nervous. It really is just like a little chat, nothing too daunting in there good luck!

I just had my interview and it went okay. We had a bad line and there was a phone constantly ringning in the background so that was pretty annoying but the conversation itself went well.

If I make it to the F2F interviews, i have to travel to the UK so that's a little adventure on itself for me.

Think they are going through people in order they applied. I applied the 20th August and they got back to me today to book my phone interview and i booked it for wednesday 10.30 with becky, hopes shes nice i get really nervous in interviews.... :/
