Phone Interview

That would be great getting on the same program leaving on the same day!

 

I'm thinking of the 21st too - tho mainly cos uni doesn't technically finish until the 26th!
But I can miss one week for this, but I doubt I could get away with more (dissertations and all that jazz!)
Hard to believe it hasn't been a week yet!

Cos before, it was all hmmm wonder if I have anything they want?
And now its 'I know they were interested, but have I just blown it?'
And I think it'll be even worse after the F2F if we get that far!

i'm going for the 21st cos i did a little research and turns out my uni will have finished by the 19th June. I realllllly hope i've got through!! this waiting game will suck big time!!!

 

my results came out on the 5th last year so the two first dates arent suitable.

we do have more at stake, but what i figure is that we got the phone interview, and they must pick people out mainly by the cvs...so we've done a big part. from i figured from my interview that they wanted to hear from us and gather more information. so we have done most of the work ina way.

 

i'll prob go for the 21st june as it means if i meet my parents at the end of the program sept is often considered to be quieter than august so will prob get to do more if they come over

 

What were the other dates avaliable other than June 21st?
And don't worry about term technicaly being over before I was woorried for my visa this year cause I went out June 22nd and term didnt technically finish til July 5th! By which time I was finished with training and on tmy second day of work *sigh* happy memories!But yeh, it doesnt matter (well as long as your uni dont need you around!)

 

May 26th - August 7th 2009; June 2nd to August 21st 2009; and June 21st to August 28th 2009.

 

I could go on the first one which i think would be great cos i think it works out as the longest one but my exams dont finish until the 29th May so it is an iffy one but i find out in feb when the actual exams are so i could go out then and the resits start on the 6th, so if i had to resit then i could be bck for that, it is a lot to think about and taking a massive risk but i would rather do that than wait for my results and not being able to go at all!

 

I'm doing archaeology so I'll be on a dig in june (so much fun) but hopefully it will be finished in time. I'll be so mad if it isn't!!! Last year they finished on the 20th so fingers crossed!

 

Wow, archaeology. Can you not just cut your dig short or lave early or even do it in Florida?

 

how cool would that be?! I think as long as I do 3 weeks during the summer I'll be fine, so if I have to I'll organise something during september to make up for any time I miss. I really want to go to Disney!!

 

I think the longest is the 2nd set of dates :S

I wouldnt worry about resits, just think of disney as a reason to do SO well that you wont have to do them!!
and isnt it your first year?! You will be fine, you seem really clever, and you have the common sense to get through the exams you'll be fine!

and Archaeology!! Are you like a female Indiana because thats damn coool!! <is jealous>

 

hehe it is pretty cool, and as indie said in the film 'if you want to learn archaeology, get out of the library!". I shall be following his advice!

I am!! Thanks!! I totally got rejected for this post I was applying at to be the executive of the club but then I saw the Disney reply from Kristen and was like OMGGG WHO CARES ABOUT SCHOOL CLUBS.

Well in the email she said they were still finalizing the details so I'll be kept in contact, but I think it's basically going to be a few cities - I'm prob going to the one in Toronto in next Spring.

Are you guys talking about Indiana Jones?? haha they always have the most amazingly gorgeous guys playing him in the parks. I have a picture with him from Tokyo DisneySea I think (I was on the Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull ride) ... so, so cute. ;D
