Phone Interview

When I had mine I got the "what would you do if the customer didn't like his food?" question and it completely threw me off! I had no idea what to say I just blathered on about making sure to note down what went wrong so it wouldn't happen again and get the manager to speak and apologise etc. :S

Also, introductions:

I'm Liam Mortell.

In my 2nd year of a Drama Course at Queen Mary, University of London.

I live in East London but I have no internet in my maisonette [sounds better than 'flat' haha] at the moment so I am missing the board a lot! Please keep me up to date with any information! haha.

Charli: i think it depended on who interviewed you and whether they wanted to know that or not.

 

Oh ok then, that's slightly more reassuring! Not that I want to work in F/B anyway, ANY other placement, but I worked as a waitress for 4 years. Never again!

 

if it helps i didnt get asked the out of 10 question, i got asked am i friendly and get on with people.

even though it was this morning...it feels like ages ago.

 

i got asked a lot of questions, but i was happy to answer them, michele was writing down everything i was saying, keywords? what are they? what type of words are they?
I got asked if i motivated myself and asked to give an example, i got all the exact questions freckles got asked and more. I really enjoyed my interview even though i was so nervous, i hope i do get a face to face interview!

 

keywords are justthat, certain words in a sentence that interviewers want to here. they differ from each compant. so for example "friendly, energetic and confident" could be some of the words they are looking for you to say.

I was shaking before the interview and ended up having to have a rest in teh day as i had got myself so worked up lol.

roll on the next four to six weeks!

Ahhh - finally have some internet now I'm at home for a while! Was going to use the uni one to see how you all got on, but there was a stupid open day so I probably would have been caught!
But it sounds like you've all done fine in your interviews, I like that you didn't have to give a number Freckles! (Cos I suppose they might think were lying...)!
But I'm sure they know were all nervous, Cos we all want the job!!!!!! So I think they'll take that into account!
Waiting's horrible tho, I got really excited cos there was an email, and it was from hotmail asking if I wanted a toolbar! NOT what I wanted!

Does anyone know how many people normally pass the phone interview and get invited to the face to face?

Also, does anyone know if Disney requires some sort of confirmation of enrollment from your school?

I am having a great weekend so far, i have just came back from a party which was awesome.
Nice to see your back Katie, yes i think they will understand the nerves we are feeling during the interview and i hope the wait isnt too long cos i dont think i could stand another wait as long as the last time, i was told 4 weeks so i am sticking to that.
I really want the job, i got really excited tonight at the party cos i was thinking about if i get accepted to the program then i will have a going away/birthday party to celebrate and i think that would be awesome.

I've had a reasonable weekend - went with my brother to Newcastle today - hehe my uni rooms nicer!
And then I bought a wardrobe - fun times....
I agree ginabelle - this wait is intolerable! I'm trying to keep my mind off it - but somehow chemistry doesn't work!

Im still checking my emails everyday damn it.

my weekend went well, the boyfriend came up to see me and we went shopping round the Hudd. He's just left to go back home so i'm gutted and want him back .

I'm not too bothered about this wait as i have more to do, uni is starting up and so are the house parties and what not.

I'm currently more worried about how im going to pay for Disney. I'm hundreds into my overdraft and have just found out the landlord has put all the bills in my name ... grrrr.

 

OMG that is a shame, i miss Laura so much, even though we are not going out, i do miss her soooooooooooooo much! i wish i had the courage to ask her!

 

its ok... i know you really like her..maybe you will find someone out there...or she will return your feelings at some point.

ahh had the phone interview!! hopefully it went well, i did my best so if i don't get on the programme then i'm not what they're looking for. i was told 4 weeks wait so bring on 4 weeks! lol! i guess we have to wait and see what happens next!

I was told 4 - 6 weeks so i will be concentrating on 6 weeks like i was last time so it was a surprise when i got it early.
