Phone Interview

I have caught my cold again after getting rid of it for like 3 days, lol. Nae luck for me!

I want to know the dates of the interviews, i have been waiting all day for an email that hasnt came, but i did get my profile sorted out on the yummyjobs website.

 

im glad you got your profile sorted.

Lucca never emailed back so i did the profile anyway, i will contact them if i have to change the address.

hope they get back to us all soon on all our different things.

This was my email:

Thank you for accepting me onto the next interview stage. When reading your email and website, there were some parts of the new site that have confused me and I was wondering whether you could help me resolve them.

When trying to set up my profile the site is saying that the information provided will be used to start a new application process, will this conflict with my current ongoing application? Also, while at university, I have a different term time address to that of my home address, which would be preferred that I submit?

oh that's good! Thank you - I'm about to finish my profile now. Do I really need to fill in all of my employment details even though they're on my CV? I've had loads of jobs!!

 

i asked leom this, cos i filled it out then lost it all last night. its not compulsory, i put a note saying it was all on my cv. she hasnt updated it yet and my cv hasnt uploaded properly, did others have this problem?

 

I got this reply from Lucca:

There will nothing change on your status, you are still invited to the next interview stage. The new application on our website will just be necessary for the further process of your application.

About the address, we need a adress from you which is the best to contact you on? So it don't mather if this is a home address or a university one!

So I guess I'll create my profile later, and have to type out my CV again (grrr).
I think I'll only put the job I'm applying for on if I'm offered it tomorrow, otherwise I'll assume I haven't got it!

if it helps i dont think putting the cv on is necessary, try without it first and email them saying it wont attach or something..gives you more time and you can add it later!

 

My profile has been done now. Everytime i try to edit it i have to put everything back in so my motivation part has been shortened as i cannot keep typing out everything, so it is short and straight to the point. good thing i checked my CV last night as it was the wrong one.

 

i will try uploading it again. i will be saving everything to word, as i have noticed you have to put everything in again.

try doing that leom, the big sections put it in word or something.

 

so are your profiles not working at all? I finished mine today and everything seemed to be ok so I've applied for the ICP. I think I've done it right!

 

everythings fine now. i uploaded the CV again and its stayed and is readable. they must have fixed the problems you guys were having to all the profiles.

the only thing is mine still states i am a new applicant, how long did it take for it to change on other people's profiles?

i wonder hwo long we will be waiting.

 

I'm the same as Freckles - I had no problems with my profile - but it is still saying new applicant!
Want it to change now, the breif 45 min respite while typing my CV and creating the profile hasn't helped the nerves!
Not sure if my CV uploaded or not tho!

They seem to have fixed all the problems now as i was able to update my info and unpload an updated CV

Ye, mines is fine now, its all complete.

 

i did mine at the weekend and it still says new applicant so it a mystery as to how long it takes :-\

 

mine says new applicant too, but I did only do it yesterday so i guess i should stop being so impatient!

I just emailed Lucca to ask if I can have my interview in London, so fingers crossed! I don't really want to go to Liverpool.

 

My status has changed but i am still waiting for interview dates.

 

me too. They've got to tell us soon otherwise people won't have enough time to plan for the Edinburgh interview. Hopefully they'll tell us at the beginning on next week.
