I'm thinking character attendant, ops/attractions, character, lifeguard. Maybe. Perhaps.

Will probs change my mind in 10 mins though!!

 

lol, i have where i want to work aswell, lmao. If i was a character i would love to be Goofy cos i think im in that height range. If i was to work operations/attractions i would like to work on Jungle Cruise! And for Merchandise it has to be the emporium at Magic Kingdom, love that place!

 

I'm kind of hesitant to put character as I'm quite a common height so there's probably loads of competition. I think I'd be happier being 'me' aswell and getting to chat to guests, so character attendant is probably better.

 

That is where i am reluctant to being a character is that i wont be me, even though i would love it, i would like to be my own person when working at disney. but i am a good actor aswell.

 

What is the range for common height exactly? I'm 5 foot 5 inches.

 

@ leom/CharlotteSparkle: yes!! haha i think i'll love all the parks but MK is just like the place with everything you grew up with. so full of nostalgia and HELL YEAH Jungle Cruise - i love it that you can add your little bits and make the tour so much more fun ... but being creepy everyday @ ToTis just so much more awesome.

i think for now i'm interested in ops/attraction, character attendant & merchandise character wld be awesome but tough competition there, i guess!

I am so undecided. i would LOVE to work on the great movie ride or jungle cruise..maybe even killimanjaro safaris. then i would love to be a character as thats what my parents see me doing.

OMG killimanjaro safari, can summer ICP people do that? I would love that, that would be an excellent job as well as jungle cruise and great movie ride.

 

I wonder if we would be allowed to do the Safari? I have some funny memories from that ride!

@ anijac1412 - I'm 5'8-9, so I'm pretty sure that'll be a common height. As far as I'm aware it's easier to be a character if you're either tall or small, and I think I'm in-between. Not sure about 5'5, there are a few people on here who know more than me!

THAT IS SUCH AN EXTENSIVE LIST (props to whoever who came hold of it and for you leom who posted it). And yeah, like Freckles (added you on FB btw! ) I'm slightly ashamed to admit I don't even know half the people on it, eeep.

Unfortunately I'm 5'5", exactly in between ... not many characters to play there. But I think I'll probably enjoy it more if I could just be myself in any costume really

does anyone know if we can audition at the open auditions for parades whilst we're there?!

because in the future id love to do it, but i can never get to orlando to audition!!!

 

yeah i'll like to say hi to people in like one of those lovely Disney costumes (they have the best costumes ever - such a great perk!!) but i do agree being a character would be fun. though under the hot sun ... hmm

@ ginabelle: i think traditionally summer icp-ers don't get to do stuff like that, but if they're shorthanded you never know. and oh yes the parades would be so fun to be in/help out with! i love the Disney shows.

 

I would love to be in the parade, but i forgot that i could be Tigger, i would love that, and i may get away with being Goofy height, if they were generous with height!

when we met tigger he was nuts, dancing with us and everything in that heat!

i am going off being a character, more cos im worried i wont be able to deal with the heat in that costume.

i'm around 5'5" as well, so i would have to crouch or go on tip toes lol.
