the lizards can be quite a pain in the ass during the summer.. since it's so warm, their population for some reason triples.. when walking around, you have to be careful not to squish them...
also, this one time.. I had a hard time closing my door.. you usually just let go of it, and it closes by itself, but this time, it didn't come all the way-.-- so I slammed it shut.. only to later discover there was a lizard sitting on the side of the door... he was kinda squashed.. intestins all over the place... yummy

The best thing you could probably do is put a glass over it.. let it crawl up the glass and then drop it into the toilet and flush! You have to be brave to do that tho.... i'd have trouble just puttin the glass over it!

or a news paper or something like that.. something you can close afterwards, so it doesn't run away...
or you could stab it with a fork..... just be sure to wash the fork afterwards
or suck it up with a vaccuum cleaner..

    I hate spiders.

We encountered a lot of them in Davenport! I went through a whole can of raid on them.

Did you no the Black Widow is native in Florida! Shake your shoes people!

Okay, I'm officially scared. I wanted to check up on where the Black Widow is found, and then realized it's found in Canada too! But don't worry, only in Southeastern Canada, particularly around the "Bruce Peninsula"... yay, right where I live! Looking up spiders wasn't the smartest thing to do, I'm creeped out now and scared that there will be spiders everywhere, even though I rarely see *any* kind of spider (let alone a Black Widow).

we had one roach, and a frog that climbed on the outside of the window.... that was all really... oh and squirrels..

  11. the squirrels are cute though especially when they are sunbathing hehe we got a picture of one that was in downtown disney I think. The gecco things are ok as well. Only thing I'm worried about are spiders, centapede's and roachs *shiver*

So all this chat about scary things reminded me of my near death experience. So Ive included my blog posting from the experience...

Anyway the main inspiration for my latest blog posting is my near death experience!
    So...
yesterday I went shopping to the outlet mall with sarah, got some ice cream for the walk back to the commons to catch the bus home. Was a nice hot day, i ate my ice cream and then as we were walking along, suddenly there was a SNAKE on the sidewalk like only a foot away from us.
The snake started moving, which freaked me out beyond belief - it started to flap around a lot, and i dropped my empty ice cream cup, screamed and ran away. But just before i managed to run, the snake started coming towards us.
I was soooooooooo scared - was shaking with fear it was so scary.
And i ran back the way and sarah ran forwards, and then i suddenly realised that i was gonna have to get to the other side of it. So i had to wait a little bit and then had to like run along the just in case it was still there.

So that was my near death experience - it was soooo scary cause it was a pretty big snake!
And then today me and david were walking to Bennigans, and suddenly up ahead on the sidewalk a snake slithered across from one side to the other.

    Both snakes were really long!
So i looked on floridabackyardsnakes.com - no forward slash!
And Ive concluded that it was either one of the most venoumous snakes in florida, or it was a non venomous one which eats the venomous ones. I am unsure.
Either way it was a near death experience!

And then after my near death experience i was sooooo tramatized that i forgot to take my nametag to work, so i had to walk around with a different one on. The only one we had was "Kim".
Thank god I was in money room cause how many guys are called Kim?! Yea right!
So the whole night whenever the phone rang, or when i used the nextel I was like "Hello money room, this is Kim speaking!"

Hilarious and scary at the same time! I'm not scared of snakes, but how big are they and do you see them very much?

I saw one in Vista near the bus stop... it was only a grass snake though. I was just like 'Oh, look a snake... wait that's my bus!'
