2 hours in the heat as well! eek dont think i could cope with that.
im guessing the buses are at set times each day so does that mean sometimes when you get to work you might have to wait around ages before your shift starts?

I think the busses are pretty frequent but probably not so frequent during the wee hours of the morning. Am I right?? Also do the schedules change on weekends?

I believe that all the park busses leaves at least twice an hour, if not more often. And at times that many people go to work they go often, so it shouldn't be a problem. And a lot of people go to work in the morning, so there's always busses. We usually got to early to work intentionally though, so we could just sit and relax and talk before the shift started.

That depends, that's all about luck... It's totally random where they place you, either you're a CP, ICP or CRP...

So true!! The only thing that'll make you see the difference is the walmart bus doesn't leave on sundays! But except from that everything is open both saturday and sunday!

i think, the Magic Kingdom and Epcot busses leave about every 20 minutes, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios leave about ever 30 minutes and the Downtown Disney bus leaves every hour.

    that's very correct...
and also remember that there are buses and monorails that'll take you from park to aprk as well... so you going to MK, you don't necessarily have to wait for that bus... get on the epcot bus and take the monorail to MK, or take the mgm bus, and form there take another bus to MK...
it's pretty easy gettin' aroung inside of wdw

I don't think they've started opening it yet, but I'm not sure... I don't think anyone knows much about that...

Did you guys notice though on the email they sent out for people leaving starting may?

"Once I arrive at housing, will there be transportation to my actual apartment complex?

Once you arrive at the Vista Way Housing Complex, a team will be waiting to welcome you and check you into the housing complex. Following your check-in, you will be transported to your actual apartment location in one of our four apartment complexes"

Which means it should be opened by MAY.
That's what I am thinking at least.

I don't know why but part of me wants to be in the commons because of the reputation it has.

But new beds and all new furnature is certainly appealling

id rather be in the commons. alot of the people ive chatted to that are over there now were housed on a temp basis in vista etc and couldnt wait till they got to move over to the commons. am i right in thinkin that if u pay the assessment fee before u get there u get housed quicker? x

I have no idea. But if it's like that, it doesn't necessarily give you an advantage to get a better housing, because they'll just put you wherever it's available.

In a way I'd rather be at the commons too, but that's because I lived there last time I was there. So it's kind of a sentimental thing. But I'd also like to be in Patterson court where everything is so new and clean.

I want to be in the Commons or the new place. I just always had my heart set on the commons cause when I first applied that was the normal place to be put for CRP. I am nervous with all this uncertainty. I mean I know I will be find and I get settled. I just would like to do my laundry in my apartment rather then a laundry mat in my complex. I was hoping to move away from that here. LOL. Guess there is nothing now but to wait and see. Cant wait to hear from some of the first people to get into the new complex. And see some pictures. :)

Oh I didn't think of that!! I want to wash my clothes in the apartment! If not they might be stolen and you have to really time the washing, eek! No, thank you! I've had my favorite clothes stolen before, so I'd prefer not to be in that situation again!

There's loads of rumours about this new building. I heard it was going to be exclusively for international College programme participants but I also heard that they were planning on knocking down Vista.

Vista is in a separate place to Chatham and Commons so it kind of makes sense. And Vista has been there since the 70s...
