Patterson Court The New Disney Building

yeh i think four would be ideal, but jus think we'll meet loadsa guys when we're over there too and can have them round on the odd night, gets the number of girls down a little lol (and i mean have them over just as friends hehe) x

 

yeah, there are apt with 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms... and 2 people in each room

 

Does anyone know how many of each apartment type there is?
What are us newbies most likely to be living in?

 

I have no idea how many there are of the different types... But it's totally random, whatever is available at your arrival! But I think there might be a bigger chance of getting the bigger 8 people apartments, since many people already there might me applying to get the smaller ones... I think the chance of getting a 2 person one is really small.

 

I heard that the 2 person and 4 person apartments are the same price, is that true? Originally, I was thinking a 6 person apartment wouldn't be so bad because you'd always have someone around to hang out with or talk to. I *definitely* didn't think about all of us fitting into a car. That would be horrible if 1 or 2 people were left out of road trips, or even grocery trips or trips to Universal/Sea World!

I know it was mentioned before that they may have been adding an extra fridge to the 8 person apartments, have they done this? I was living in a 4 person apartment last summer and we had enough problems finding fridge/freezer space... 8 would be *incredibly* difficult!

 

yeah, sharing a fridge between 8 people was a major pain in the ***.
the 1 and 2 bedroom apt cost the same.. and the same goes for the 3 and 4 bed ones..
and what I heard, they added either a fridge or a freezer to the 8 person ones..

Does anyone know if anyone bought like...a mini fridge?

 

A mini fridge would be useful for keeping various drinks in. I'd bring mine but it takes up a lot of room in the car, lol. If you could get a cheap one it might be worth buying so you have guaranteed fridge space

 

Hehe, that's actually not a bad idea I never thought of that before...

 

disney actually says we are not aloud to have a little fridge....but its little....so you could hide it if they inspect the room or something

 

hey, do we have cable hook ups in the bedrooms or are they juts in the livingroom? do they provide the TV or do we have to?

 

im not ssure about where the cable is hooked up...i would say in both the living room and the bed rooms....but i know you have to bring your own tv and your own coax cable....

 

There was hookups in the rooms too! If you want a TV in your room you're going to have to buy it yourself, but there's usually a TV in the living room that someone has left behind or some of the others has bought. But if you get placed in Patterson Court there's a big chance there's no TV, since it's so new...

 

Just read on the hub that patterson court is still scheduled to open in may, with 1,200 beds at that time.

It's weird because it says the first phase will open in may, but the overall total capacity will be 'nearly 1,300'. maybe they only have a couple of buildings left to do and want to open most of it in time for the summer.

 

A girl i no is moving into Patterson Court in May she arrived april 22nd on CRP

I am excited that the new building will be available when I get there in June, although the commons has such a rep of fun-ness!

 

Does each building have it's own gym room, or is there kind of a central one that everyone uses?
