    Hey Medardo
Well, whatever happens you yourself can get into the parks anytime you want. :D And to be honest, even if you can't get family/friends in free, someone will either be able to do it for you, or can buy you discounted tickets! ;D

I have a question – while i am there my parents and their friends are planning to come for a visit. However, we all feel it would be easier for them to book the whole thing (ya know transport, hotel and tickets) through a travel agent rather then wait for me to get there and get them discount on hotel and get them free into parks!

So what i’m asking is if anyone has had experience of booking family into resorts with discount and getting them free into parks is it easy enough to sort it all out or should they just book it all now and then it saves me the hassle?!

You book the hotels online through the cast portal (basically Disney's intranet site). If you book it under a discount for youself you MUST be there to check-in your family. If you book it for a "guest" (not quite as cheap) your guest can check him/herself in.

Getting people into the parks is EASY! You use your Disney ID that gets you into the parks. The person working the turnstile swipes your card a few times and then your guests get their own park hoppers, that way you don't need to stay with them the whole day. (Very useful if you are just getting friends/family in before you head off to work for the day.)

I'd say your family would have to get a really good deal from a travel agent before it would EVER be cheaper than you using your discounts.

Ask other fellow cast members .... You have 10 (or was it 20?? Help me again people!) times you can get 3 people in with you... The vast majority of IPers won't use them. When I was there, I only used my pass to get friends and family into the parks 5 times. FOR ME, that is. The other times I would go to the parks with other IPers whose family was visiting, to help them out. I'd use my pass to let my friends' families in.

Technically, you're not REALLY supposed to, but as if! Of course I'd help people out! Ask around and I'm sure you may find people willing to help you out...and help your family save some $$ !
