PARTY IN CALGARY

  Hi all

Thanks for the info Jordana, you seem to be a good source for news and info. I saw on the news that it was 17 in Calgary. Here in Ottawa it's -1 and dropping. I still have your business card in my wallet Jordana. Well Sandra things are going well here in Ottawa. I just started work today, since leaving for the interviews. Everyone asked me were I went and how the trip was. Only 3 people know that I went for the interview. I want to tell them that I went to the interview but I would rather not say until I have the job. If too many people know I may not get my leave of absense. But I think that I am willing to give this job up after17 years. I've had enough of Ottawa and this job. I do not know if I will be able to find employment with Disney after the one year, but I sure would like to!!

Hey,D.P. and Griff what's going on in Brandon these days? By the way D.P. what does digital Phear mean or stand for anyway?? Is Griff willing to grace us with his presence again, soon?? I hope that you fella's are doing well because you guys are the ones who usually are on here often and I usually get a good laugh from your posts.

Well Sandra if you do come to Ottawa let me know and we can meet somewere. The goes for the rest of you. I personally do not find tis city too exciting but then I have lived here a long time. We have a lot of clubs here on both the Quebec and Ontario sides. We have a new war museum will be opening soon. One new and incredible thing that the new museum will have. Is that they have placed the tomb of the unknown soldier in a room of the museum. The room has a window in it and every November 11 the light will always shine on the Headstone of the Unknown soldier. I thought that was rather awe inspiring.

it has been a long time since i have even looked at this.. i am going crazy with the new job its a lot to remember plus the other 3 jobs on the side.. ugh i am getting warn out

Nah Joss...we're still here...just lurking more then anything.

Not much too say really.

Dont want to talk about day-to-day life. Its not exciting now, it wont be anytime soon.

Other then comming in here being like "IM IN ...WERE IN!!!" there isnt anything worth saying atm.


@Chris...DigitalPhear...stands for...umm..it doesnt stand or mean anything...its just a handle Ive used online for years.


Thinking of going into Winnipeg next weekend...maybe that will spruce things up...meh..still not calgary tho...oh well.

 

Hey Jordanna, thanx for submitting that crucial info about calling ERic! Wow, Dec. 17, that's a bit longer than 2 weeks, to say the least!
ugh, why do they even tell us 2 weeks, if by the looks of it, they've never told anyone in the history of Disney anywhere near that amount of time!

And hey, "DP", there's nothing wrong with Winnipeg! (Except that I'd leave it in a second to go to Florida!) But anyway, hope you have a good time if you come in!

Im happier living IN Brandon then I would be in Winnipeg..and that says alot about how much I dislike that city.

Hello Everyone!!!! Good News!!!!! ERIC CALLED TODAY!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, I was at work and didn't talk to him. However, he left a msg on my cell phone telling that he was calling with GOOD NEWS!!! Of course, I didn't get the msg until 5:30 and by the time I called him back, Cast-A-Way was closed. So, the waiting is somewhat over, but now I have to wait until tomorrow morning to find out the details.

Whew.... finally!! Anyone else hear anything?? I know you'll all hear something soon, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for everyone anyways.

Scott, you don't like Winnipeg? Why not? I grew up here so I suppose I'm just use to it. Have you gone on the Millenium Express at the McPhillips Street Station? It was designed by Disney Imagineers and it's really awesome!
I'm so busy with school and work, its crazy! I started filming my own short film today, a little scary though I'm learning lots. The time is going by so fast though and I guess it shouldn't be too much longer before we hear from Eric, I hope

Jordana, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Eric probably JUST started doing the calls and who knows what kind of order he's going in. He actaully didn't say too much, most of the indepth info will be sent to me in a few months. Seriously, don't stress! I know, easier said than done! Maybe he is calling f&b people first (that's what people said that they did last year).

Hey guys,

Just so you know, I had my interview in Toronto this March, and the F&B people found out when they were leaving about 4 weeks before anyone in Merch. So don't worry!! I got so stressed out that I hadn't been called until someone pointed out that it was only F&B. Those extra four weeks of waiting totally sucked though, but it makes it all better when you hear Eric's voice on your answering machine!

Thanks Christa for that...That makes me feel SO MUCH better . Because I talked to Eric on monday and he said nothing and hadnt heard anything and then people are starting to get calls so I was a little worried. Congrats on you getting in to the Cultural Program. I am sure it will be great. So you have/had a long time to wait before you go hey. Thats no good. But I am sure it will come quick enough.

Hey Everyone!! Called Eric back this morning and he only called back about a half hour ago. Now, I'm so excited, now that I have a date... June 21st in f&b.

Yeah, Jord, I wouldn't worrry. So far, it appears to be only f&b people he's calling.

Aww wow, I am starting to get soo nervus, now.... I went for merch so i probley won't hear anything for a while.. but I really don't want to wait anymore!!!! AHHH, this is soo stressfull, but I guess the only thing you can take it as is day by day! Im sorta wishing i went for F and B, cause then I would know by now! lol, Does anybody know why it takes longer for merch people?
