I don't think so..if your food and beverage you'll be trained as food and beverage..if your outdoor foods, you'll be trained as outdoor foods..

There completly different i would say..so i dont really no why they are categorised the same..apart from the fact that there both to do with food..

Outdoor foods is selling basic things like popcorn and drinks..and F&B is serving burger, sandwiches, drinks, chips etc..

The set up of them is completly different as well like you would expect..

Cuz I've been told and all my friends that have done the program, have started on the popcorn carts and then worked their way into the restaurant by the end of their contracts. Oh well, guess I'll just have to wait and see when I get there

Basically it's kinda an umbrella system

Food and Beverage is the big term
Then there's quick serve and full serve.

Quick serve can be general things like ODF (food carts), or specific such as Cosmic Rays, or Restaurantasaurus. These are basically counter service.

Full serve are basically the table service restaurants, and certain positions in FS F&B are the ONLY F&B locations you can accept tips.

Training for quick service is generally the same for ODF, or restaurents, your on the job training will differ however (You still need to take the basic f&B class as well as pass the alcohol serving thing, if you'll be serving it at all)

Not sure what full service training entitles.

These are generally different from the CRP since in that F&B is pretty much F&B, same managers most likely the same training and same everything else.

If you ware placed in ODF you have your own specific ODF mangers and base of operations and everything like that. It's a specific location much like Canada F&B is a specific location that covers 2 service options.

Yeah I agree, it's a more stressful/less magic position thats for sure. Sometimes you could get lucky and have 2 people to your cart (hot dogs, turkey legs, etc.) but otherwise your by yourself and usually so busy you don't do anything but collect cash and hand over food.

Canada's wagon didn't seem to be too busy most of the time I saw it, except for about the 6-7 PM rush to the WSC (most of future world closes at 7) and with Illimunations at 9 MANY people start lining up crowding all food places around the WSC lagoon about 7ish. Canada's cart always had at least 2 people working it when I saw it (might have been the rare case when someone was alone, probably because someone went to the bathroom or something).

The Canada popcorn cart also (from memory) seemed to be mostly shaded so you don't have to worry too much about the sun, but it will still be hot!
