He was good in that he acted well.... but it wasn't a "WOW that was an AMAZING performance" role...

 

Yea Forgetting Sarah Marshall was a good film, but I wouldn't really call Russell's role 'acting', he was just playing himself really, a silly egotistical sex mad man!!
