my interview is wednesday! but im so busy the next two days i dont even have time to think about the interview so im going to panic stations unfortunately!

 

My guess is that if it is still running, the area inside SM would be covered in. Otherwise, it probably wouldn't be running...

I would guess the same, they stop TTA when Space Mountain breaks down and has its lights on, but given a refurb would be for a long time, they may cover up the tunnel in this part - though without anything repacing it this part of the ride could be pretty boring.

 

Haha yeah but in Disney they don't really measure like we do...I have friends who have been measured a couple of inches outside their real height.

 

I'm going to be a pain and bring the conversation back to the original topic (I'm a spoil sport, I know )

At my interview on friday, I was interviewing with a guy who was out last year and who worked on the great movie ride. He wants to go back to do that and Rodger said he could assign him to a specific location, but in that area he could get a number of things - Rodger couldnt guarantee it would be the Great Movie Ride.

Now, that got them on to a discussion about what he would want to do if he couldnt get the GMR and the guy said some other type of attraction with a spiel.

KS came up and Rodger said that they wheren't taking any internationals for KS due to some driving license laws...which, as I thought about it later, didnt make much sense to me since 1) I know internationals who have done it, and 2) Disney is technically private property (yes?) so having an international license wouldnt really matter cause you would be off the common roads.

Sorry to disappoint anyone who had their heart set on KS :-\

...I would also like to put my hand up to never having ridden Space Mountain...or Splash Mountain...or the Rockin Roller Coaster...or Misson Space...or Everest (which I was going to do till someone mentioned the 80ft drop...I'm a wuss)

I did do Dolphins in Depth at Epcot - A really great experience as it isnt just a swim with the Dolphin (no swimming at all in fact) and you get to learn all about them and see inside the Living seas - Did you know that Space Ship Earth could fit inside the living seas, and there would still be room round the outside? - I want to do the scuba diving experience next.

When I was there at easter, my brother and I saw it had broken down, so went on the TTA to see inside!
Took pictures and everything!

That would be awesome, haha. i have watched videos on youtube with the lights off on space mountain.

 

Ive been on it with the lights on! it really does ruin it and it worries me how it is just those tracks! i hope they make space mountain go upside down!! ooooo exciting!! ;D

 

Apparently the track is hardly changing. It is mostly the decor and the biggest chnges are in the exit route - at last
