That's a perfectly good age to be dude! I started at 27, then turned both 28 and 29 out there!

I started February '09, turned 28 at the end of April '09, was meant to finish my program at the end of January '10 but got extended 3 months so turned 29 two days before my program finished.

Don't worry about your age dude, I totally expected to be the only person in their mid-late 20's but that's totally not the case. There is plenty of people from 18 right through to my age. I was only the oldest by a couple of months.

I did pretty damn well, don't wanna toot my own horn though! I've not done my application yet, I'm gonna work on my cover letter right up until January 5th when it re-opens.

I'm from Telford in Shropshire. What about yourself?

I still got you beat by 6/7 months then Grandma! It's a good thing, we can give worldly advice to all the youngsters on how to manage a year without getting termed!!

I had a dude from Glasgow in my start group who I lived with for a bit...homeboy sure knew how to drink!! He only did about 3 months before he found out he had been accepted as a firefighter back in Glasgow so he self-termed. I then lived with a guy from Edinburgh who was also a phenomenal drinker...see a pattern here?

well we scots sure know how to drink ha ha ha

im a bit panicy about getting drunk incase i start swearing (in a nice way) like this place is f***ing awesome etc and get caught by security and termed! Of course this is if i get in!

Hahaha!! Security are cool as long as you are always polite and courteous with them. I got one housing warning and that was for wearing a mankini when we had a movie themed party...apparently it was considered indecent exposure!! But other than that they were always sound with me. They sometimes had to come round to ask us to keep it down when we got a bit carried away with Rock Band but that was about it.
