Yay! Another person applying from the UK.

I've just got in from a long day at work, so naturally I'm on here! I just have to remember what all the money is going towards!! Its quite sad really, when all of my wages come in I'm like oooh, that's my visa or whatever paid for!!!
Am I that sad? Someone reassure me lol

haha nah you're fine I think everyone else is just as excited! I don't even have a job at the mo so I've been lurking on and off all the time on here! Need to start preparing what I'm going to say in the phone interview! Will they just call at random at some point over the next few weeks?

 

no they email you a time... ie 2.30 on the3rd and you get really nervouse and excited all day untill its over and you think i should have said that i should have dont that etc...

what if you know you`re not going to be home at that time? has anyone had to call and reschedule theirs? i'd hate to do that though...actuaklly i think i gave them my cell number but if it's a time i'm gonna be at work i can't really answer it :-\

 

Thats good news I was worried they were just gonna randomly phone me and I'd get caught off guard somewhere! Hopefully you could reschedule if you were at work because a lot of people might be in that position

 

That's good that you get given a time that way you can be sort of prepared !!!!

well that's one week gone by since we have all sent our CV - come on YUMMY put us out of our misery and give us all a interview.

I never got given a time when I had my phone interview. I woke up and had received an answer phone message from Michele, the day after applying, which said to give her a call back and have a chat about the CRP etc. So I called back, and she started asking me serious questions lol, not to worry...she told me straight away that she would get me in for a F2F. Now am just waiting to get given a start date......emailed her today as I found out a couple of people have left recently, so hopefully this will speed up the waiting game ;D

How long ago was this, was this the last time they were recruiting?

Hi, This was when they rushed us through for the June 11th F2F interviews. We're just being used to fill up the waiting list at the moment it seems. Actually, just heard from Michele a moment or two back, and is unable to let me know how far down said waiting list I am :-[

The official line is "These positions do not only occur when candidates return, but if Disney feels the need more staff to cover their busy periods and if the accommodation is available"

But still hopeful, and always good to keep in touch with the recruiters

I am pleased for you that you are almost there - I know being on the waitlist is a bit of a pain but reading some other messages on here people have been contacted within a few days of being on the waitlist.
I know you probably feel guilty leaving all us new applicants here so just wait for us until Feb 09 lol....... ( if I am lucky to get a position)
