Ok... Guys/ Gals... I need some convincing.... to apply that is...

lol.....in canada actually ... theirs this program going on for the canadian olympic team... where their goal is to win the most medals in vancouver olympics...doubt it will happen but well see..... tones of money has gone into the support the podium program to help our athletes train like crazy to hopefully when the most medals that year....

We just need to get Cindy Klassen competing in all the events. Then we will DOMINATE!

 

LOL Good luck with that! Unfortunately money can't buy it all!!! Either way it will be a great event! I LOVE winter olympics!!

 

Oh i heard about the podium program.... i actually do agree i think it's highly unrealistic that one year of supporting our athletes will make us number one... but if there's any improvement hopefully they continue the program and maybe one day?!

As for the Olympics themselves... I'M PUMPED!!! I have a ton of family in BC... so i'm hoping to be out there for them, either visiting... or maybe even working with their PR team..... who knows.... it's exciting tho!!!

 

And hey for all of you who have to travel for your interviews Toronto isn't the only option. Montreal was the best one for me since I would have only had to miss one class (which turned out to be that one midterm) since I had Fridays off.

Just a thought to keep in mind... (I think last year it was Halifax on a wednesday, Montreal on a friday and Toronto a Sunday). Might be different this year but if you have exams and are flying anyway another date might work out better.
