I cried all the way across the atlantic and all the way home and for about a week after that...my parents wanted nothing more than to get rid of me at that point!

Don't worry about the coming home part now! We still have a whole year of Disney ahead of us! Think happy thoughts.

 

I have to say I slept the whole way home. Was awake for nearly 30 minutes as I watched and weeped as we found the Atlantic, slept, and woke up as the announcement came on that we were just about to land. Very sad times they were. And now all my friends are posting pictures with the boss man .. mouse ....

lol you're right....let's think positive, we're all gonna get through, have an amazing year, possibly be able to extend so it's even more than a year...plus we'll have the next few months to get excited for it!!

i thought that too, but i didn't want to be too optimistic...but if you're thinking the same thing then whoop....aim high!!

i'm unbelievably excited, i'm going on holiday there in september and i'm soo looking forward to that, just hope i have an interview to look forward to afterwards!!

i heard of some people getting a place there and then lol

 

They dont do that anymore. You need to phone and make an appoitment, they dont even have staff in the building anymore unless they have a meeting on. My friend lindsay works in disney over there and recently went back to work, so thats how i knew that!

hold up, take a step back here... there is a possibility that Disney could offer us a permanent position or extend our contract if we so wished????? That would be incredible, but I haven't heard that before.

 

I think you can extend for 3 months, you have to apply for this somehow...not sure how though! You won't be offered a permanent position, that's just wishful thinking on our part!!

yea i'v heard of people beeing extended for like 3 months, and i think (not sure how) i have heard that a couple of UK reidents are working perminently in the UK pavillion!

duno if thats true or not but i hope so, i wanna work there lol

I think it would be nice to go on to working on the cruise line, to see what that's like.
