Can't believe it's only a 2 months and 9 days away. I have nothing done! haha

 

I know, it's getting so much closer!! Need to properly start thinking about things now!

Just out of curiosity, what is timmies?

Timmies is the nickname for Tim Horton's which is a coffeeshop chain here in Canada. It's like Starbucks for the US: We have a Timmies on every corner, haha. They have sandwiches and bagels and pastries though (much better than Starbucks) and all their prices are half the cost of Starbucks.

Needless to say, I'll be missing it very much! I think the furtherest Timmies south in the states is the new one they opened at Times Square in NYC.

 

Ah cool, if I end up in Canada at some point I'll have to go! Mind you, Starbucks is way cheaper in the US than the UK, when I was in Washington DC a couple of years ago (when the dollar was really bad against the pound) the price we pay in pounds was the price in dollars, so worked out that the drinks were half the price than in the UK!!

But, then again, all coffee shops are expensive in the UK! I'm going to miss the english tea shops, esp my one at my uni town- they did amazing homemade soup! (sorry, I do realise I am sounding like an old woman...but it's sooooooo good!!).

Timmies is amazing!! I went to one whilst visiting Niagara Falls. Loved their Maple donughts. Lindys Diners in NY do sell Timmies coffee . Their sandwiches were so good too and they are really well priced . I miss Maple Creme Cookies though x

 

wahhhhhhhhh :'( I am so depressed re: Timmies now. I'm going to stock up and bring a coffeemaker down with me, ahah.

I feel like all the time I spend here is just meaningless time -- I wanna get to Disney so bad already!!!!!!

 

I know what you mean, I'm trying to fill the time but it's just not working... I just want to be there enjoying myself! x x

Oh, you'll see in the posted stuff, it's like a list of names to prove that Disney have petitioned to the embassy so you can get the visa (assuming it's the same in canada ...)

It's so exciting, cos once we've got the visa all we need to do is pack! Anything florida, america or disney related makes me want to burst!! x x x
