i think the phrase "throw-in" may come from when people got thrown in the pool as an initiation, but i could be wrong. so yeah, it's like an initiation/a welcome to the group kind of thing

if anyone wants to develop on my rather shoddy explanation please feel free!

pub snooker is like, u have a list of places, and u have a red ball drink which every1 has 2 do, n then other drinks have a colour which like in snooker is worth diferent pionts, the more hadrcore, the higher pionts.
aim 2 get most pionts n win and still be standing

pub snooker sounds cool because you get some choice about what you drink, which is good for those who don't want reaaally big night out!

Aren't there loads of red balls in snooker? Woohoo! Double v+cranberries all night! (Although I have a spectacular drink to have with the yellow ball... vodka, tequila and red bull... disgusting and deadly!) What would you drink with the black ball? Black sambuca maybe? I don't think I fancy the white ball though... I'm sure whatever drink it was would have to involve a creamy drink yulch!!!!

 

haha i duno what the white and black were, to be honest, i didnt make it that far into the ight with soundmemory, but the mixing of drinks was a killer.
