Not much different to Uni Life then. I think at the end of the term, i was limiting myself £1 per meal.

im coming with $580 for first few weeks (tomorrow!! arrrgh!!!) i think that should be enough but im expecting to save a lot on not having to buy alcohol (blessing in disguise)

Wow I'm kinda glad that I'm not leaving until september now  I'm pretty useless at getting things done but I've already sorted out an insurance complany to go with, booked my flight and already started packing! (I was joking with that last one). All I need now is my Visa and I'm jet set. I've managed to save around £1200, this number has seriously decreased recently after my car crash :-[. I'm starting to think that this wll be enough to take with me as you guys seem pretty confidant that $400 will be enough until you get paid. ;D

Can't beleive you guys are going in a few days! Good luck and I'll see you out there ;D

Yeah, sorry i didn't mean to make it out as if everyone gets paid so much a week..I was really lucky to get that because of the shifts i worked..But i wouldn't really expect to come out with that everyweek if at all..
Everyone gets paid a different sort of wage depending on the shifts that you do..I prefered the longer shifts because it meant you usually got more days off and got more money, but yeah like that guy just said, it all depends on what location your working in etc..
