One question, do you guys know where the J1 people live?? i really hope we get into the commons!!!

 

One of the questions on the application form is can you submit verification of your legal right to work in the US, What so ya say to that?!

 

Hi nina I just saw your question. I had the same concern and kristen told me to check no to that question. Supposly it is only if you currently have a us passport or visa that you can verify that you can work in the us.

Did you number all the roles or just some of them?

 

I numbered them all, but there is no way I'm paying $1,800 to do custodial. I want the bell boy job so I put hospitality as my number 1, lifeguarding being my last because i swim like a dog.

 

Yea I just left 2 out- housekeeping coz i can't even keep my own bedroom clean and the character one coz im not likely to get that anyway?

How do you compress the files to send through email?

 

I'm telling you i had so much trouble doing this. It took me 2 hours and i sent 4 emails with faulty attatchments to Kim before she got them. Poor woman.

Eventually, I right clicked the images
Open With...Microsoft Office Picture Manager
Edit pictures
Compress pictures

Click compress for web page
saved them to desk top

These new images all fit nicey into one tidy email that Kim receives

Please send a few mistake emails though so i don't look as stupid.

 

Oh,

And it wasn't clear in Kristen's email but you also have to send a passport scan, your cv and motivation letter for the program (the one you sent yummy) and your role checklist in the email too.

I know Kristen's email mentioned to send them to Yummy, but said to just send the application to Kim. Kim wants it all too.

Suppose I shouldn't complain though I applied for this a year ago so I should be thankful i finally get to do this stuff ;D
