When did you find out and how?

 

Yay the interviews are finally starting!!
I ain't heard anything yet though

 

Ha just as soon as I post that I got a call from Kristen!
I've got a phone interview on Thursday next week! Ah im so nervous, Oh yea and she was saying something like that there wasn't they weren't doing that many phone interviews at the mo but that she was offering it to me coz I'm from Ireland so I wouldn't have to travel over to the UK ;D

 

So are there no normal interviews for this program?

 

I think there will be face-to-face interviews as they told my friend the date hadnt been finalised yet. I REALLY need to know though cos I have this holiday coming up in March...

 

Well done to the people who have phone interviews and good luck. I haven't heard anything yet but I'm not too worried yet cause I did say I could only go in October. Hope your interviews go well.

 

Yeah I got my call at 1120 this morning. I was in seminar though so phone poised in hand calling immdediately at 12. Mines Wednesday at 3.30pm with Kym, a representative from Florida.

Apparently Kristen's sending me a presentation to watch etc and some forms to fill out before the phone call.

She did say they were just starting to interview July people, so all you October's I shouldn't worry.

Haven't you been to Disney before? I bet they will not give you a phone interview and you will just go f2f.

Has anyone else received the email. Watch this, fill in that, post thousands of documents etc. LOL will take me all night.

The online presentation is one hour long!!

 

Yep its prob coz we're July people coz she mentioned that alright! It did sound like there was gonna be face to face interviews on aswell it sounded like she was doing me a favour by giving me a phone interview.
I'm kinda worried though coz don't ye think its harder to make a good impression on the phone than face to face? I was shaking just talking to Kristen!
Dylan she said that to me too about viewing the presentation and I think there's stuff we have to fill out and fax her too. Did you get an email about it yet?

I don't have a fax machine. I wonder if she will mind recorded delivery.

Good luck Nina. I was shaking talking to Kristen too, butshe said she couldn't speak properly this morning. I think she was hungover lol.

Well fancy that, Kristen called me too - BUT I have decided to defer to October. My best friend is also applying and can only go in October, plus it solves a lot of problems for me - can save up money, won't miss graduation, AND I can go to Ibiza

October people, Kristen said they would start contacting us in MAY. She was an absolute gem btw and just said to email if I had any questions

 

I just emailed her regarding the faxing and whether it could be sent by Royal Mail, also I changed my name in 2005 so I queried whether there wouls be any problems with my birth certificate being accepted. I have legal proof of the change though.

I'm off to watch the presentation. Back in a bit. xx

 

If you are having a Phone interview and are doing the process with the watching the video online, photocopying forms etc etc, then its possible that this will be the only interview you will have. Thats the same process we went through when doing the seasonal program last year.

Is it Kim Cascone who's doing ur interviews? Shes so nice, I had my interview in Florida with her!

Any tips for the interview? She ask you any strange/really hard questions?!

 

Just be yourself, be prepared to tell her a bit about your country / town, remembering she may have been there on previous recruitment trips so dont make stuff up lol (obv that depends where u come from)

smile lots, evne tho ur on the fone it shows. Just be natural and happy, try not to let ur nerves get the better of you.

and be prepared to answer questions about difficult guests, or why you think you should be chosen for the job, and why you want to work for disney

no really dont worry about it, you will be fine! Although saying that, i came out of my interview crying coz i thot id done so badly and i have got the job! Its hard to tell when ur nervous, as afterwards u always think about the things u should have said, and forget about all the good answers u gave!
