I don't know where we would be likely to live. I wouldn't think it would be the commons because thats where the cultural reps live and i thinks its full most of the time. It could be vista, chatam or treehouses although i'm not sure about tree houses cause the bus stop is small and they would need to put on another bus for transport to UCF. But i'm guessing we won't know until nearer the time possibly not until you arrive. Thats how it works for the summer program.

all of the UK Cast members who are currently in the Treehouses are all on the Academic program. It depends where ur job is tho, as only people who work in Magic Kingdom live in the treehouses. There are loads of academic people in chatham too

Is there going to be phone interviews for this program, or is it just straight to interview?

Yeah I was wondering about phone interviews. They haven't mentioned anything in the emails.

Kristen hasn't said anything about phone interviews to me so I'm not sure either.

I did get an email from her saying that she's put my name down next to hopeful entry for July. I'd rather have gone in October but she reckons there's more spaces in July...Oh well. I'll just have to survive the heat if I make it. :D

Well at least it means we'll be on the same one. She put me on the same list so we could go shopping for new pencil cases.

Oh yeah. If we do end up going at the same time at least we'll know someone. :)

I just persuaded my bestest friend to apply too!!! :D But that would mean that I would actually defer entry to October...further away but it has its advantages :)

Also my mate enquired about interview dates and they are TBC...

I'd ask before you assume you can defer to October. Unfortunately the places for that month seem to be VERY tight... :(

All this talk of an October date and the people at Yummy have never even mentioned it to me. It would suit me better too but I'm happy with whatever I can get. I wish the interviews were tomorrow.

Me too. I've got to focus on writing my dissertation. How can I possibly do that when my head's full of Disney.

    Dylan, come on MSN. ;D

The Treehouses are where those on the college program stay. They're VERY cute but a little run down from what I've heard. They used to be used for guests. :)

You can see a video of the inside of them here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QfTpkFsQicE

Hi Everyone... I am going on the programme in April!! And Kristen called me yesterday to schedule me for a phone interview!! I am so excited to go!

From what i gathered they are having phone interviews in a week for people wanting april... who else is thinking about going then? You should... the weather is Brilliant in April at Disney and you will probably be scheduled for a interview soon, i would think! ;D

I just watched the video of the treehouses and it brings back so many memories cause thats where I lived over the summer. There are some annoying things about the treehouses like no internet and less buses but there are also some good things about the treehouses. In every treehoues there is one single room, they also come with tvs and washer/dryers none of which you get in the other accommodation.

Kat your so lucky you get to leave in April. Good luck with the phone interview. I'm sure it'll go well.

And the single room has a double bed?!?
I guess security isn't that strict at that Complex. Cause you don't have neighbours...no noise complaints ;D
But the spiral staircase looks a bit scary to me :-\
