New Graduate/'ICP-Academic' Program

No I don't think that anyone else on here has applied for october. I didn't actually talk to anyone on the Birmingham College cause theres some connection. So maybe they are going in October. The way they have been interviewing people leaving on different dates at different times is a bit strange.

I think the interview went well but it was a bit strange cause we were interviewed in pairs. I will just have to wait a few weeks until i find out.

I have applied for the J1 Academic Program and have my interview 20th March in Preston..
As far as I am aware though I will be leaving for america on the 19th august if i get the job..Thats when my other mate is leaving as well..

I think as far as i am aware that the J1 Academic Program is different to the other program you were talking about..

Strange, i was told that the UCF Grad program was this years version of what they called last year the J1 Academic program ???

And Yummy obviously just have totally random ways of picking people for interviews lol

Hmm well last year it was just called J1 Academic and it was for Students and Grads...

 

Yeah im an undergradute..This will be my placement for uni if i get the job..is the thing your on about for gradutes?

You are able to apply for the J1 Academic Program, the details are attached. The start dates are June, August, and September and the Program lasts for 5, 6 or 12 months. Would this be a placement for you or are you considering taking part once you graduate? If so then there is a slightly different Program which you can apply for, details are attached.

So im guessing from that what everyone was saying is right..there is a difference between the undergradute program and the gradute program..

 

I still can't believe they are interviewing in preston. Where are you travelling from?

 

Huddersfield..Its at the university of central lancashire i think its called..I am really nervous..I know I have been before so they must like something about me..But i just hope i got a good reference last time and that i have a good interview...
Although too be honest i've never heard of anyone thats been turned down by disney..Watch ill say that now and i won't get the job i bet!

Sorry..i just haven't tho..i shouldn't have said that though because i bet people will get turned down now and then they'll be on my back when they do!
But yeah..i met two people at my interview and both got in and about 10 people that applied from my uni got the job as well..

 

Hmm i think the summer ICP seems the easiest to get into alright! ;D

 

Yeah..but when i thought about it..I would have thought the programs we were doing would of been easier to get into..because presumably more people apply over summer than they do for the year or 6 month program..so i would have thought they were begging for people to do what we wana do..

I just got an email saying that i'm going back to disney in october. I'm so excited. I'll be doing merchandise again. I hope you guys find out soon. I was suprised that I found out already.

 

When was your interview?

 

6th March in Birmingham. So it's less than a week. I was expecting to wait for at least 2 weeks.

 

You lucky bastard! haha..You usually have to wait miles longer than that..you must of impressed them!
I had my interview in birmingham last year..got my one this year in preston 20th march..fingers crossed i get it..really nervous incase i don't get it..You been before? Its such an amazing place to work..
Basically you work in the day and party on the night!
