New Graduate/'ICP-Academic' Program

I've been bricking my interview today.

I keep thinking I'm gonna draw blank, but I guess I always think that before exams too and then remember everything.

 

Oh I know darlin.

Its on Tuesday at 4pm.

 

It's just when I read what i wrote again I thought oopsie that might seem like I was being mean! ???

 

Me Too! And i just kept thinking about how much I want this and how upset I'll be if I dont get it :'(

I've been shaking today. I can't decide if it's because of this interview or whether i have turned into Judy Finnigan through drinking too much this past 4 nights.

 

Hmm yea i had a few drinkies last night to relax me but instead it made me really angry with my boyfriend for no reason! ??? an apology text had to be sent this morning :-[

 

I'm really jealous. I wanna go out drinking!! But I have to work.

 

Just had my phone interview there, it was ok i feel kinda disappointed tho or something coz it was really short and I just duno if I said enough to get me through :-\
There was no suprising questions though so that was good!
She said i wont know till March so the waiting game begins now..

Ahh that is so dissapointing that we have to wait until March. It's agonising as it is.

Hope you did ok and thanks for the good luck. Mine is still a good day away with I could get it over with now.

 

Nina i'm sure you did much better than you think. Last year I thought my phone interview went really badly so I was shocked to find out i got through. So don't give up hope. March is such a long wait but my fingers are crossed for you.

 

I hope it is the beginning of March and not the end. Waiting 7 weeks to know one way of another would be hell.

Kristen said this in the email she sent out with all the instructions:

Jason Smith will be contacting all candidates with instructions directly following the interviews

The 'directly' kinda implied quickly to me.

Yea I thought that directly meant we would know soon aswell!
She said hopefully we'll know by the beginning of March so fingers crossed

 

Right, I'm all prepared for the interview now.

I'm waiting for the phone to ring.

I have 3 hours to go...

Just had my phone interview, it lasted just over 20 minutes and I was surprised to see no questions on British culture, and none on dissatisfied guests.

I think I did ok though apart from one point in the interview, but hopefully they will forgive the slip up.

Will have to wait and see. She said I will know if I am on the program by Mid March.

Only just caught up with how you lot have been getting on with the phone interviews - I've been struck down with the Flu of death(TM) and havent even been able to move out of my bed since Sunday. So actually it's probably for the best that I'm not having my interview til May now - cos I would have sucked!!!

 

Hope you are now feeling much brighter.

 

Did anyone whose had this interview as well get a feeling that it was important to have seen a lot of the world, ie: Asia, S.America, Canada etc etc, as this is where a lot of guests arrive from. I have only visited the States and European countries, I wonder if it would go against me. There seemed to be quite an emphasis on where I had visited in the World.

 

No she didn't ask me what countries I'd visited at all just what parks I'd been to in Disney world! I did mention though that I'd done two french exchanges and she asked me a good bit about that and whether I could speak French

I was suprised she didnt ask anything about disatisfied customers aswell I was definitley expecting that. What question did you feel you messed up on Dylan?
She asked me how I felt about change and I gave a pretty crappy answer to that coz hadnt even thought about it!
