Actually I hate to admit it but I am addicted to Coronation Street, I often spend Sunday AM catching up, it's on for about 2 hrs. I spend the rest of the day thinking with a british accent in my head.
    Well enough confessions tata

Oh my God, Aussies !!!! Wohoooooooo !!!

It's great to find you here !!! I used to have nice records and memories with Aussies. You're really cool guys !!!! In my country is so difficult to find an Aussie guy/girl (maybe because we're too far from Australia and there are few Aussies that speak Spanish, too).

My name is George, and hope to see u soon there in Orlando ;D

    Cheers everybody,

    George A.

    Hahahah that's a good one !

We can have our own vineyards there in the Commons Complex.

"Château - Les Commons" will be our trademark. Those Shiraz grapes could grow well there in Orlando, maybe also some Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. Just we have to take care of them from bortyttis (or we can make sweet wines with that ;) ) Well, anyway, It'll be good to see u there in Orlando

Ahhh I was forgettin' something.... If in your back-to back days you decide to travel to my country, Mexico (that is "near" Orlando), there the over age is 18 ;D so, you can have a chance to drink all margaritas you want ;D

    guys stop distracting me :-[

i hate assignemnets, i can't wait till disney, its gonna be the BESTEST, oh by the way i wonder how bad the assignments are there, for the college program??

Australians are awesome!! My uncle is from Sydney and one day, when I can afford a plane ticket, I'm going down and staying with his family. Whether they like it or not :p
Also living in Banff, AB Aussies are rampant down there. Everywhere you look there is a group of Aussies.

I will see you guys down on December 5th! You'd better roll out the welcome wagon for me and Tracey!

Jorchm - I have my Ontario wine certificate, I can smuggle you down lovely Niagara penninsula wine ;) We do make wine from Shiraz grapes, but not as good as the Aussies :p

And I do believe there is internet in every apartment, it might be worth investing in a laptop.

    See ya later alligator!

I am a Disney Alumni from Canada, and I lived in the Commons for a year (2004-2005), and I am almost 100% sure there is internet access in all apartments. If you are at the Commons, then most definately there is and a laptop is a worth-while investment because the computers in the lab are slooooww!!

Have a great time guys! You'll have the time of your life!! :D

    hi true blue,

OMGoshness are you an Australian who has done the disney college program????
whao its so good to finally meet someone from stralia, who has done the program, you have to tell me everything. esp since you left our summer for their winter, how was it like?? that is one of my most concerning thoughts at the moment, the type of weather compared to the sydney weather....

how i got to do disney for 9 months... well for my course at ICMS (hospitality business college in Manly, Sydney, NSW) we have to do 9 months of paid industry training (work experience).
disney came to our college interviewed people for positions..etc. etc. and yeah i'll be soon over there for 9 months

    keep me posting on stuff
    xx
    cheers

ps- if you bring electrical gear from australia, do i need a transformer to allow me to use my electrical good over in the USA, like because we have different power voltage, blah blah blah...

I'm so jealous you being there for nine months! That would be so awesome. I'm guessing you'd be working food and beverage in the returaunts?
I had some friends from uni that did it last year as well :p (apparently across the road from where they stayed there was a brand direct outlet Cass, thought that might interest you :p)
And yeah they aslo had to get some adapters for electrical appliances (cameras and stuff they took) Luckily I can be able to get their ones :) (I wont be able to live without my ipod!!!!)
