Movies/TV shows you look forward to seeing in the US

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Jimmy Buffett (the guy who owns the Margaritaville chain- all his songs are played in them). We lived in America for a while when I was a baby and my Dad got into him then, and has since passed on the love to me... He's never going to play in the UK so if he's playing ANYWHERE slightly reachable when I'm over there then I'm going! His concerts sound legendary- all his fans dressed up and just going completely mad, would be so immense *Keeps fingers tightly crossed* Anyone want to join me??

 

I've heard some of his stuff and liked it, i'm more into your 80s rock, Bryan Adams and Rod Stewart play Wembley here in May, got tickets and can't wait!

 

A British person who's heard some of his stuff- IMMENSE (I'm not usually into country, by the way, it's just an inherited taste. Plus he just rocks) Bryan Adams should be a pretty cool concert, I'm jealous!

 

Well i'm quite a big Rascal Flatts fan, if you can call them country, and a big Johnny Cash fan following Walk The Line, so my taste is pretty varied,lol

Yeah taking my mom and sis to see him, should be awesome.

Anyone know when Heroes, PB and Lost return over there? I hate how the US have to have breaks in programs , grrr

 

i´m more into rock or pop concerts, from marilyn manson to gwen stefani so i don´t care as long as its a cool concert, last year (summer 2006) i went to see madonna and it was a damn good concert so i hope i can see something like that ;D

 

my parents are huge country fans, after a while it became too hard to resist, so I'm going to be looking out for any of my fave acts playing at the convention center Rascall Flatts, Emerson Drive, Alan Jackson, Tim McGrraw, Trace Adkins geez and so many more.

But I have such ecclectic taste, I'll also be looking out for anything from rock to classical if it's going to be good. It helps that at home I work in my local concert hall and theatre so it'll be strange having to pay!

I'm also a huge scifi fan and attend all the conventions here (got one next week yay!) so looking out for anythign in orlando or tampa to go to as well in that area....

 

ok i just checked and there is a justin timberlake concert in may i think and a gwen stefani show may too i hate this i go until june!!!

 

i have the luck of seeing Justin first hand this June and meeting him backstage, wooppe :S, hes the first act in the '02 Dome' here in England and all 02 employees have been given the chance to get tickets and meet him, i was one of the 'lucky' ones,lol

 

i will hopefully watch in the US "shrek 3rd" because i think it's gonna be on theatres around may, so by that time i'm gonna be in orlando!!! yikes!! i'm very anxious of watching it and of course i'm looking forward to watch a million more movies, i'm a huge movie fan!!!

 

Any new disney movies are gonna be well received i reckon, must be amazing to be there when their films come out, can't wait!

 

Went to PotC Dead Mans Chest opening night

 

That would've been amazing, not a huge fan of the 'new' ride tho tbh, even though i'm a huge pirates fan, the 3rd one will be pretty good though i think, i loved the 2nd one,haha

 

Far as I'm concerned that ride didn't change enough to call it "new" it's virtually the same (I know the dialog changes the story however). Love the Davy Jones part!

I got to do the CM preview of that as well, so needless to say I was on a real pirates kick there for a while.

 

Haha, yeah its just the Davy Jones bit and the Jack Sparrow bit thats extra no? Must have been pretty amazing to have done tht

Ok well then SPOILERS for the PotC ride if you don't want to know move on!

Yup Davy Jones at the start, 3 Jack Sparrows through the ride, Barbossa is on the ship now, music at the ship has changed (to the "fight" song from the movies), and dialog has changed (people all over are looking for Jack Sparrow).

The animatronic JS is pretty good but the 'thing' outside at various times throughout the day is even better
