Ahhhh. I stayed at a hotel right beside the airport one time with my band, but thats as far into Montreal as we went.. Its weird, all the signs are in French! haha.

Nice thats good stuff actually! You wouldn't happen to have some extra CD's to sell do ya? My cousin uesd to be in a band and I know he had CD's to sell (I'm assuming from touring). If not thats cool but I wanna track one down now lol. When did you leave the band? From what i can tell from your display pic you're still on the site right (in the bios and such). ETA: If not I could probably just get it off iTunes (since the website says it's for sale on there), but I'm the kinda person that likes to have a hard copy ya know. Did they sell it in a lot of stores or is it hard to come by? I notiected futureshop.ca didn't have it listed but amazon.ca did. Or I guess I should ask are you even on that new CD (the one with sin) thats featured on the site?
Thanks!! Its at most music stores like future shop, abc, music world, hmv.. But if you cant find one, Ill pick you up one and bring it to Montreal! Thats awesome that you want a cd I left in November. They have a new drummer now and should be releasing a cd sometime maybe nect fallll!
Cool sounds good, I'll look this weekend and next week (reading week) and if I have trouble finding one I'll let you know. I have trouble finding local (Edmonton) bands at home in Red Deer so thats why I'm thinking it may be a bit difficult but you never know! So I take it because you left in November, you're on the CD? (I think it says it came out in September) I know it seems pretty obvious but I just want to make sure lol. I'd hate to be listening to it thinking you're on it but you're really not lol. And yeah if I get one ahead of time it'll be on my iPod come Montreal time.

Yeah, all I've really heard so far was Sin but that was a pretty good tune. Actually I heard previews of a few other songs off iTunes and they were pretty good as well so I think I'm gonna like the disc lol. And no worries I didn't expect a freebie I woulda paid for it either way lol.
Hey all, Allow me to give you a few pointers on Montréal, my survival guide if you will... 1) Do not pay anything more than 35 dollars for a cab from the airport to downtown, most have fixed rates , but will try to swindle tourists (often pretending they don't speak english...they ALL do) 2) Speaking of which, most anyone can get by in the city with English, granted, the interviews are in a more Francophone area of the city, almost all business dealing with the public have bilingual staff. 3) Have fun! Montréal is unlike ANY other city in Canada! (or the World), enjoy yourselves, go to Mount Royal, Shopping on Saint Catherines (world class), and explore! You're coming all the way so you might as well enjoy yourselves! Hope that helps! Jay
Hey everyone, I just booked my plane ticket to Montreal for March 3rd, flying out from Saskatoon. I'll be interviewing for the ICP this summer, and I completed the CR program last July. It was a blast, and now I see Florida as my second home... which is why I can't wait to go back. Anyway, I thought I'd introduce myself on here and I'm looking forward to meeting you all. I've been to Montreal a few times (did the summer language bursary program in 2003 - five weeks) and I LOVE it there. Just wish I had more money to go shopping... Robin

Disneyrobin - What job did you have during your CR program? Did you have much opportunity to do job shadows? Jorden & Soda - Which jobs are you trying for? I'm not sure what I want to do.... probably operations because it seems like you will be doing more things, and possibly be working on the front line... ??? I dont think I want to be selling beavertails or maple syrup for a whole year.... but then again.... Yeah that is too bad. The worst part is that I will be waiting at YVR for like 3 hours..... I will have to see if I can get on that earlier flight. I will also take anything I think my order is: 1) Attractions/Operations 2/3) Custodial & Merchandise (tied) :-\ lol The good aspects of Custodial are: -tan -freedom -people/show watching -get to carry guide maps But other than that, its the craps (literally) :-[ ;D
